We used Hassett and Reid for a land purchase back last spring. Everything seemed great as we were preparing to sign documents and they were very responsive to any questions we had. After we completed the transaction and we had paid though, we couldn’t get a simple response to an email. We received a land titles form a few month later declaring an interest in the land due to a covenant and we were just curious if it was normal and to be expected, or something to be concerned about – basically a yes or no answer. We never received any reply after sending a couple emails. So I wouldn’t expect any help if you have any issues with your transaction after signing and making payment. I’ll be trying a different lawyer next time.
