Unbelievably kind and caring people. Helped me out during a stretch when I had no money as a new college student. This place is worth standing in line.

I’ve had to use this facility many many times, and they have been nothing but gracious. They helped me find what I needed. I was able to get what I needed but now that I have to use a walker and I find it would be very hard to get up the stairs, and I was just wondering if there is an accessible entrance that I could use or if anyone could help me

Good neighbors food bank is great. You can go for food (groceries) once per month, then return for bread, clothes, and pastry 3x per month. Expect to wait in a line up for quite some time before entering unless you're a half hour early before opening.

I appreciate all the volunteers for their service and everyone who donated.
I get it gets really busy and long line ups. I have been told twice now that there is a cut off time so they can get out by 2 or just after 2. Both times I had doctor appointments and other appointments so I came around 1:30 - 1:40. I understand that. But when someone said that's her car so she can get by. If you think just because someone has a nice car they don't need help you are so wrong. My car is 8 years old and I look after my things. I am on disability and need help so please don't judge people of what they drive or have. You don't know what they are going through. Everyone needs help now with everything going up in costs. I do need a car since one of my doctors is out of town. Please people be kind. Again thanks to all the volunteers.

Generous donations and lady in baked goods is a warmhearted darling. Always look forward to her smile.

Steep stairs means inaccessible for persons with mobility challenges. (Not sure how I will be able to visit when time for my surgery. Will likely be a hungry time while I mend) Heavy smoking by visitors in long waiting lines can also make breathing very difficult. Requires some physical stamina to attend.

But the donation itself is SO helpful and very much appreciated. Am grateful this place is here in city even if not all those who need the help will be able climb the stairs to get it. If City could help these good folks to find a location accessible to persons with disabilities as well, the most disadvantaged could experience the generosity and support as well.
