I loved the dogs , the bed was so comfy and I had a lot of privacy I enjoyed the water dispensers the water tasted delicious. The bathroom was beautiful and the tub was so nice and big . Definitely recommend. Very accommodating. I stayed long term so I didn’t get to taste the owners cooking but my mom stayed another time and she said it’s spectacular . I would definitely book again . Highly recommend a visit! You’ll be pampered and have a great stay. Don’t miss breakfast, it was well worth it! Location was easy to access. Host Cheryl is attentive to all you’ll need for a wonderful stay in her home. Look forward to booking again the next time we visit family in Magrath, just a short 10 minute drive and great views of the mountains in the distance.

Stayed here last night in the big room. Quite inexpensive for what it is, and the giant jetted tub was a real treat. The breakfast included was Eggs Benedict - cooked to the standards of a fine Calgary restaurant, with authentic Hollandaise sauce. There was also a selection of tea available in the evening. The owner is very pleasant and accommodating. Altogether, a great experience.

My Mom was here from Newfoundland so my entire family went to Raymond for a family Easter together , we rented the Red barn for the dinner and booked rooms at the Gemstone guest house , it was as fabulous as the last time we were there . I think we booked all or most of the rooms , Cheryl our host was amazing as usual , she accommodated our every need, she cooked a fabulous breakfast for everyone , the beds are comfortable and Cheryl makes you feel right at home . Recently we enjoyed an absolutely delighful long weekend at the Gemstone Guest House and B&B in Raymond, Alberta, CA.
Cheryl, our hostess had thought of everything we needed to make our stay perfectly lovely.
The breakfasts that she served are made for a hearty appetite! She asked us what our preferences were and catered the meal to our taste and schedule. I could see that any type of diner could easily be accommodated. She is an accomplished cook and her timing and presentation are suberb.
Our rooms were extremely clean, well designed and allowed us to feel right at home. I enjoyed the extra space in the drawers and closets so I didn't feel like I was living out of my suitcase! She kept fresh towels set out and everything else we might need to prepare for our day.
We felt grateful and blessed to have discovered this 'gem' of a guesthouse! It was truly a vacation.:)

We have been planning a family reunion in Raymond for two years. My daughter, who lives in Raymond, mentioned the Gemstone B&B and after visiting with owner Cheryl found this B&B to be ideal. We booked the whole place for 5 nights and Cheryl couldn't have been more hospitable and thoughtful in her preparation for our family. She even turned her personal space into an additional bedroom for our family. The outside patio was perfect for meals, lawn area great for outdoor play, kitchen was huge and well supplied for our needs. It was a great experience!||Pennie Ellsworth

We were looking for a place in Canada (Alberta) during one of the busiest summer weekends and found this B&B. We were greeted by Cheryl in the most friendliest way and felt right at home. Her B&B is very beautiful and we had the fortune to be staying in the big family room. A huge bathroom (with a Jacuzzi !) and very welcome (we had been tent-camping) large beds. The breakfast in the morning was absolutely perfect with fresh fruit and omelets (with you choice of cheese and other toppings). Good coffee, OJ and 7 types of cereal.||||One day later we found out we forget something, so we returned and were treated again on coffee and homemade brownies.||||Great place to stay with very reasonable rates. About 1 hour from Watertown Lakes NP. Highly recommended.

I stayed at the gemstone after an incredibly long day of driving. I chose to stay here on my way to Alaska simply because I have family history in the area. I was very warmly welcomed and it is simply not like any other stay. You are welcomed into a warm and loving home and invited to literally be part of the family for however long you stay. I entirely enjoyed my bed, very comfortable- and the breakfast was super delicious. I will definitely stay again if I am in the area.
