Cant beat the price, fishing experience, and lodging! Owner and employees made the trip experience way better than i could have imagined! I’m in no means a great fisherman, but i was able to pull a 40” pike out of the water and multiple over 35” and this was my first Canada fishing trip!

Just got back from Sportsman Lodge 2 weeks ago. My son and I were with our group of guys for a wonderful week of fishing and experiencing the wild of Ontario Canada. This was our 9th time to Bret’s place and it was the best yet! The fishing and the weather was fantastic! All of us (9) caught pike over 10 lbs and some up to 15. We caught walleye for shore lunches every day and grilled out for dinner. The boats and motors ran great. Bret has been fixing up the place and we lucked out getting the big cabin. One of our guys is 81 and he did just fine up there. Mason took him out they caught a ton of fish! The float plane in and out was exhilarating. The bugs and mosquitoes held off until the last night. We had a wonderful time. For a rustic fishing experience, I highly recommend Sportsman Lodge! Thank you Bret and Mason! Chris and Matt Timmons

Started fishing there in 1973-81 took a break after my Father passed away have been there about 4-5 other times if you want to catch big pike that’s the place to go nice stain lake lots of cabbage weeds and don’t have to travel for miles to find fish I’am do to come back Brett and Judy are fantastic.

If you’re looking for trophy pike this is the place to go! I’m a terrible open water fisherman and on our first trip I was still able to land a ton of pike over 30 inches and one over 40, others in our group landed multiple over 40. Can’t beat the price, the lodging is fantastic and the highlight of our trip was chatting with Brett (the owner) in the evenings. We’ll definitely be back!

Amazing place to be, best place I've ever been to catch fish - walleye and northern pike.
Both the host Brett and Judy were very welcoming and fun to be around felt like I knew them forever

This place is an absolute treasure!!! Monster pike and walleye. Brett and his family are one of the nicest families I have ever met! We will be coming in from Chicago every year !!!!

Fined for illegal moose hunting! Brett Geary of Red Lake, pleaded guilty to two counts of discharging a firearm from a boat. He received $10,000 in fines and a four-year hunting licence suspension.
