They came in and broke our water softener during installation. Said they'll call us when the replacement part comes in. 3 months later and many calls to them, they told us it probably got sent to Rona, which turned out to be a lie, because the next call they said oops we actually didn't order it and now it's "out of our hands", and I have to track it down. Now our hot water tank element has corroded over because we don't have softened water. No compensation, no accountability and clearly zero Fs given. If obscure brands like Whirlpool are too difficult for them, they should have a policy where they don't install third party equipment.

To their response, their own tech admitted they stripped the threading in the bypass valve, not sure how that counts as faulty product.. and they left us in the dark for 3 months until I started calling.

I had Fonda's come out a fix a leaking pipe for my in-floor heat and I'd like to thank Josh for his friendliness, professionalism and expertise. The problem was fixed quickly and at a fair price. I would definitely recommend Fonda's for your next plumbing need.

Isaac from Fondas provided great service. He got our garage furnace/heating unit serviced and back up and running quickly and efficiently. He documented and took pictures as well and made sure we are ready for the colder temps. We will definitely use them again.

I had Fondas come in to change a hot water tank and sump pump, i dealt with Amanda and Alexis. They were amazing, very friendly, and courteous. I will definitely request them for future work when required.
The same day i had my furnace cleaned and they sent TJ, i don't think I've met a more polite and courteous person ever. I would 100% recommend.
The next morning, I had Fondas come and give me a quote on a new furnace and the sent Connie. She was amazing, very professional, and thorough. She sat with me and went through the quote and explained every detail and gave me options that worked for the property i bought, i would definitely recommend her as well. All in all, it was a great experience

I hate to do this, but I’m actually trying to help this company out.

I’ve used Fonda for plumbing work last year and for furnace installation this spring. Kelly came to look at a small plumbing job last Wednesday and I am still waiting to receive a quote. I contacted them twice by email in the last couple of days; but crickets.

I work in customer service at a head office with 300 franchises in 6 countries. We do our best to promote prompt, effective communication by our franchisees. Good product and good service go hand in hand when you’re growing a business.

In a world of stiff competition that only gets stiffer, Fonda is burning bridges in a small market. And the craziness of this is that all they have to do is contact people and businesses back and schedule them in. And yet somehow they don’t see this now. But they will some day and when that day comes, hopefully, they’ll remember that it was always about the needs of the customer.

Customers want you when they want you. If you can’t or won’t accommodate that, you’ll go out of business. It’s just that simple. Too bad because they were likeable until they disappeared…

Terrible experience. First they didn't show up when they were supposed to. 2 days later they show up and don't bring the part we requested. The guy then charges me almost $400 and says he can't fix our issue - we need to have them out to install extra equipment. We decided to fix it ourselves and it ended up costing us $70 for the part (the part we originally asked them to bring). What a rip off they are. It makes me angry that we could have forked out another $600 and our system STILL wouldn't be working.
