We just returned from our second trip with Float N' Flag Dive Centre (this time to Fiji). It was a fabulous trip! Well planned and well-executed. Fantastic combination of diving (of course) but also local experiences (such as white water rafting). Having two dive experts (Brad and Tammy) lead the trip means it will be enjoyable and safe for everyone. And having Tammy as our travel agent, travelling with us, adds an extra layer of comfort and security. She knows what should happen, and makes it happen! I’ve had an incredible experience with Float N’ Flag over the last two years while completing my Open Water, Advanced Open Water and Peak Performance Buoyancy courses. The entire team has been consistently friendly, supportive and patient, making every step of my diving journey both fun and rewarding.

I started my scuba training with Float N' Flag, and finished my open water in Roatan. Long story short, after my planning mistake, the guys at Float N' Flag pulled together and got my training started in time for me to finish on my trip. I really appreciate Mike taking his time to train me on his weekend. It was a great training experience, set me up for an easy transition to finish my certification on my vacation. Mike made sure I was comfortable & understood everything.

After finishing my Open Water cert abroad, I wanted to continue with the sport and came across Float N' Flag while researching local dive shops. Tl; dr: Fantastic dive shop, great people, fair prices, would highly recommend, easy 5/5.

I wanted to continue with my Advanced Open Water and I'm almost done with the program (one dive left). The entire course was well organized, delivered with absolute professionalism and it was a blast. If you're looking to learn or continue your education, you are in good hands with Float N' Flag. I personally will be doing further courses (looking at rescue, drift, dry suit) with these guys.

I also decided early on to invest in my own gear - there's no sugarcoating this, scuba gear is not cheap. I spent my time researching what I wanted (including pricing) and consistently found that gear prices at Float N' Flag were more than fair. To be clear, there was never any pressure to buy anything. When I was in-store to look at gear, they've spent as much time as I needed to go through options and pros/cons of items I was looking to buy. Being able to go to a place where I could ask for advice, check stuff out in person and know they can service my gear if anything happened made the buying decision very easy for me.

The store staff and instructors are fantastic. Professional, super nice and approachable and endlessly patient to answer all my rookie questions.

Wonderful atmosphere. The staff are always friendly and helpful. I took my Open Water here and the owners really try to create a community. As a new diver they encouraged me to go on their Tobermory trip to meet other divers and gain experience. Now that I have experience, done lots of diving on my own, and a few more certs, I keep going back. I've joined a few "Pool N Pub" nights and now 2 international trips. They have built a wonderful, supportive community. I went on their Egypt Trip this year and it was one of the most incredible trips I've ever done. I knew I could trust them for such a big trip. And they didn't disappoint, it was so organized. I was looking for our group trips the day I got back! I always encourage people looking to get into scuba to come here, they will set you up for success.

Love Float N Flag's dive trips! Just finished a 2 night trip to Brockville. What a great set of dives. Brad and the gang ALWAYS make the trips so easy. They plan everything and lay it all out for you. They add all kinds of little extras - snacks and gatorade on the boat, shore lunch at the park, let's try this to make your diving a little easier, of course I can help you fix your broken gear. I can't imagine what would make it easier. Well done and thanks.

Great group of people that provide exceptional service and practice what they preach. I have taken several courses with Float n Flag with several different instructors. There is continuity in how they teach and they ensure everyone in their classes get the attention they require to succeed. Store staff are very knowledgeable and are not pushy. I have been told on more than one occasion that they will not sell me items I don’t need.
I have also been on some of Float n Flag’s dive excursions and Tammy has set me up with great dive shops to use while on vacation. I couldn’t be happier with the service and products that they carry.

We recently travelled to the Maldives with Float N Flag. What a fantastic experience. It started with a few days in Istanbul touring all the sites. Tammy and Brad did a great job setting up an unforgettable experience in one of the world's great cities. We loved it. Well organized, lots of fun and we saw so many wonderful things. Then we were off to Male to begin a week of diving. The Maldives is all that you think it is. Beautiful turquoise waters, white sand islands, hotel rooms stretching out over the beautiful blue. The live aboard was great with wonderful accommodating staff. The diving was super convenient from the separate but integrated dive boat. Brad, Tammy and the crew made everything easy. All we really had to do was jump in the water and go explore.

The planning was meticulous, and everything went smoothly. No easy feat for a large group globetrotting to exotic destinations. Transfers, tips, what to do next, what paperwork was needed shortly, etc…; all taken care of. Much like just ‘jump in the water and go explore’ these details of travel were looked after for us.

Tammy and Brad also did a great job navigating the waters of two group travellers testing positive for covid. They managed the situation very well, keeping the group up to speed with the latest developments and plan changes to accommodate the two. The situational management was unnecessarily stressed by a complete lack of personal accountability and entitlement demonstrated by the two (the reviews are here blaming everyone else). But here again Tammy, Brad and the boat leaders lead our group through it. The balance of the travel group was sure glad to have them out front leading us though this. Just the kind of leadership you need when these unexpected events arise halfway around the world. You can’t control irresponsible entitled travellers but good leadership contains it.

Beautiful blue waters, white sand beaches, mantas, whale sharks, fantastic eating, laughter, storytelling and lasting memories. I’m not sure what more any traveller could expect.

We have already booked several other trips with Float N Flag and fully recommend them to anyone who loves to travel, see amazing sites, have world class diving experiences and immerse yourself in other cultures. FYD
