Visit on Friday, August 30, 2024. I am not a student and have not taken any courses here. Review is of the facility and grounds only. Lovely building situated on largely undeveloped forested property. Mobility impaired accessible, clean facilities appear to be well maintained. Student residence under construction at time of visit. This school of art and design seems perfectly located in the natural environment. Arr pieces from students are displayed in the common areas.

A quaint school located in a natural setting with a forest and lake nearby, and with a sculpture forest exhibit. I went there while school was not in session so the school was empty but I certainly had a his cube about it. I looks well kept and clean, well organized and cozy. Additionally, it has a rustic feel to it. The building is beautifully built and looks inviting.

My husband took a woodworking course this summer with Steve Der-Garabedian. He really liked the instructor and the atmosphere he created in the group. This was my husband's first attempt at working with wood, and look what a beautiful, delicate carrying tray he made. Thank you, Fleming, and thank you, Steve!

If I could give 0 stars I would.

If you're an international student and considering this place, steer clear. It's extremely difficult to get a hold of anyone, especially admissions. No advice. No support. No responses to emails. Really hard to get answers to simple queries.

Was asked to pay for additional fees 10 weeks before course was due to start then less than 2 months before course start date, I received an email advising course was cancelled. No reason given and still not received a reason. No information on how to get a refund so been desperately ringing through and I get an 1 answer for every 20 calls I make. In 8 months, I have NEVER got through to admissions via phone.

No empathy. To receive a vague email less than 2 months before is ridiculous, I've paid tuition fees, bought expensive non refundable flights, partially refundable air bnb and partially refundable car rental. No apology until I advised I'd not received an apology.

Now I'm waiting an unspecified amount of time for a refund. A huge, huge disappointment. The college needs to look how they treat and support international students immediately.

Faculty is dropping the ball in a major way. Poor management is causing students to suffer and loose resources that we are paying for . Staff is completely unhelpful and nobody seems willing to do anything to make a change despite being talked to constantly by numerous individuals. Accommodation for international students and low income students is insulting. food prices are completely unsustainable. At this point get it together or shut down, stop making false promises.

Why are you guys building residents but canceling black smithing, photography, glass blowing and jewelry? Whats the point of paying money if we can't do most of the certificates? Where is all of the students money going, it should go back to the students but the school doesn't respect the people who pay for it
