What amazing service!! Judy and Nan consistently provide an expansive breadth of knowledge and experience delivered with smiles. They're always ready and willing to help and quickly get back to me with the information I require. I like First Credit Union Powell River branch so much that, even though I don't currently live there right now, I plan to indefinitely keep my account open and active.

They don't even deserve the one star Go in to change a account just to find out they have closed it without a death certificate not very cool at all. Supposed to receive a phone call never got that either!

Friendly people, but very nonchalant about handling money. They waited 7 months to tell me they had lost a several thousand deposit I had made and then told me since the deposit bank draft was more than 6 months old and stale dated, they wouldn't follow up on it and I had to get in touch with the issuer and try to work it out. I spent a lot of time and effort dealing with the issuing bank in Australia, this credit union and the clearing house in the USA.

Cash deposit, no envelope, been a perfect member 20 years, 5 business day hold? Wth? CIBC, RBC, no holds on cash deposits. Get with the times FCU.
