We had Jennifer from Whitecourt as our Agent. She is wonderful! Very attentive and always checking in through email or text. Our trip to Punta Cana was great. Sunscape Coco is a 3.5 star hotel but we had the Sun Club and Adults only so rooms were very nice and food was good. Staff was always friendly. Thank you Jenn!

Like Mike’s review stay far away. Booked a trip with Samantha ( found her on Google but under a different company name, but she books through Fair connect)
Started out great got everything booked got to Portugal after the first two nights the rest was all garbage barely habitable hotel rooms.
Ended up booking hotel rooms on our own while we were there None of the people at fare connect want to deal with the issue they blame their suppliers saying they have to deal with them to give us any sort of a refund
Finally got a few bucks out of them, but I totally disgusting amount compared to what we paid
They credited a small amount to our credit card and then have quit all communication stay away

Jody Strauss was the travel agent we used and I cannot stress enough DO NOT USE HER OR THIS AGENCY. They are not very helpful whatsoever, we could not reach her for days, weeks or even months at a time. We wanted to look into upgrading our flights for our trip and after trying to get ahold of her for a few weeks she finally returned a text message after we reached out to the main office. She said she would call us the next day and we didn’t hear back until 10 days later. While waiting to hear back still wanting to upgrade our flights, secure our seats and curious of the cost we called AirCanada ourselves. They advised us of cost but that they would not be able to upgrade the seats for us and that our travel agent would have to do it. So we reached back out to Jody. She finally got back to us. Said she upgraded the seats and when we asked her the cost she said there was no extra cost, no updated invoice was sent, no upgraded charges showing on our fareconnect travel portal. However she did provide us with our seat information to and from and we were now upgraded. (March)

Fast forward it’s time to pay for our trip (August), one month prior to our departure date and we pay our balance owing according to the portal and our invoice. We then go to receive our travel document and itinerary and it won’t work. So we reach out to Jody, who doesn’t respond in a convenient time frame and she tells us it’s because we still owe $3400 for our seat upgrades!! When we mentioned that she said there was no charge she simply responded of course there is. We ask why she never sent an updated invoice and she answered with an updated invoice and nothing else. No other response. Incredibly unprofessional.

We reached out to her agency and spoke with a controller named Anne Hiebert. She said she would look into the matter, she seemed professional and her responses seemed as though she might look into the matter but we never heard back. This company lacks professionalism, customer service is nonexistent. They will take your money and provide you with the bare minimum, you can just book it yourself through AirCanada vacations or any other airline. Save yourself the headache!!

Messaged Jody once a few months ago, no response. Made the mistake of messaging her again recently to book my honeymoon, she responded once and after I sent her all the details of what I wanted, again, no response. Very disappointed as I’ve been a long time follower of hers. Found someone from another company that worked with me and got me booked the next day!
