We played Castle Crown Affair for my daughter’s 10th birthday and had a fabulous time. The staff are friendly and very helpful with hints if you need them. Highly recommend, we will definitely be back.

Amazing group experience!
Two free hints - we used, and finished with 10 min to spare for our time slot.
Staff is super friendly and very helpful (in and outside of games.)
Great ambient atmosphere. Outside of games is a fun/jovial atmosphere. In-game was seamless and truly group oriented. The staff were fun and helpful (giving us the option for a guided hint or full out given-show of a hint.)
Amazing, regardless. I'll definitely come back!!

Took my friends here for my birthday and we had a great time! We’ll be back to try some of the other rooms again. Harvey was an amazing game leader including the rest of the stuff. And they were very accommodating to the bad weather as well on top of that 🙂 🔑🔐

We visited Durham Escape Rooms as part of a company team-building event.

The establishment is tucked away in the east side of Whitby near Thickson and the 401, and has plenty of parking in front.

The staff are welcoming and knowledgeable, and are very good at helping first-timers with the concept of escape rooms. The lobby has board games for sale, and has places to sit, as well as some interesting treats.

For those who like to take photos, there are an assortment of signs to hold up in your pictures for added humour.

There are a good number of escape rooms of varying difficulty, according to staff. Our group was split into two, with each group doing a different one.

I have to say, having done escape rooms before, this place is top notch. Very cool interactivity as well as immersion. You will definitely feel the challenge - though there is help available (which really costs you pride/reputation).

I would definitely recommend!

I've visited this establishment a few times now, always a great time! Staff are always friendly and helpful, rooms are original and thought provoking. We recently visited with our family of 5, ages 9-40+, all of us were able to participate and work together as a team to complete the challenges! Love the opportunity this provides to bond with family, screen free! Thank You, will be returning in the future for more challenging escapes!

We have played 3 of Durham Escape Rooms games and each time I have enjoyed them. Tonight we did Mason Warwick version 2, as we wanted to get that in before they redo the room for v3 Staff were amazingly friendly and we will definitely be back for more.
