Great place to stay. The motel is older but the rooms were exceptionally clean and well kept. Booking was easy and staff were readily available and very helpful.

This little gem in Kamsack is as shiny as they come. The room was clean, I mean CLEAN!! Carpets, beds, bathroom, all excellent. Hot water, good pressure, fresh towels. Can't find a negative thing to say. Also close to the restaurants for food. Good job Duck Mountain Motel.
Five out of five, will stay again.

We booked the hotel over the phone, where the front desk confirmed the booking. Reached out in the morning to confirm the booking still exist, was told it was not booked. So we email to inquire our booking once again. We got no explanation on the email, just an invoice for refund.

I hardly ever write reviews but I thought they need a thumbs up for the wonderfully clean rooms they have. The bathroom was sparkling clean... the bed sheets smelled refreshing. It's a smaller room then most but suited us well and I would sooner have a smaller, clean room than a large, dirty one. Thanks for the comfortable stay!

Wow! We experienced the new, clean, quiet, private and well equipped Cabin Rentals during our recent visit. We loved everything including the courteous, prompt and welcoming attention during check in. Our only caveat, the access ladder to the loft will not be for everyone.

The owners were fantastic, large snow storm had me have to stop, pleasantly surprised by the great hospitality and hotel itself! Highly recommend a stop over if you find yourself needing a room!

Spotless room with a very comfy bed! Great shower with lots of warmth and pressure. Nice and quiet with only a few coyotes howling made for a fantastic sleep!
The full size coffee maker was a huge bonus, along with the microwave and mini fridge.
Perhaps a bit overpriced for a small town but I guess that's to be expected with no competition.
My thanks to the owners and all staff for a great stay! Your housekeeping especially deserves huge praise for a job well done!

We are staying in cabin #9.

There is never any wifi, so you can't use the tv because there is no connection. Advertised internet in cabin, but there isn't any you are required to use your data to use the tv. There is internet in the hotel that you can use, but not in the cabin.

There is only hot water to do dishes so be prepared to have a cold shower or don't do dishes. Maybe you will have enough hot water for a shower hard to say. Not advertised they only have a small RV hot water tank in the cabin (maybe 5mins of hot water available). But you can pay extra to have a hot shower in the shower house.

The front desk area says open but it's always locked, you are better off phoning.

The oven is extremely small and the sheet pan provided doesnt fit in the oven. Bring your own.

The ladder up to the loft are very steep, not fully blocked off at the top. If you have young children not the best.

Overall the cabin is brand new so it's very nice. Location is good downtown kamsack is a close walk. But I don't think it's worth $149.00 a night. Especially when you have to use your own data and can't have a hot shower. Not advertised properly.
