My little boy and I came to camp for the evening just to get away. We were setting up our tent just my little and I, he was 8 at the time. When a loud rude belligerent man came racing towards us on his quad, Obviously excessively intoxicated he began to tell me, My son and I were not welcome here. In front of my little boy who started crying and was terrified. The man told me I had exactly 15min to get to the bank and get the cash to pay him. I had prior arrangements to pick up my other son from work and honestly since our tent wasn't even up and there were zero other campers I didn't think another 10min would be a big deal.
ILL NEVER FORGET THE LOOK ON MY SONS FACE OR THE TERROR I FELT THAT DAY! THAT THESE PEOPLE COULD TREAT US SO BRUTALLY AND DESTROY OUR PROPERTY ON PERSON, LITERALLY RUN OVER AND DRAG AND THEN PHYSICALLY THROW MY SONS 6 PACK OF BLU GATORADE HE BOUGHT HIMSELF AND WnHAPPY TO THIS UNPROVOKED traumatic experience at what was supposed to be a fun happy memory together. This man Tom Spicer married to Dawn Spicer the realtor in town Pickingwhom are managers or who knows!! Well respected "Normal people.... g on and bullying a woman and her young child. Tom took the liberty of calling me every name in the book and dragging our brand new 10 man $200 tent behind his quad, running it over with our belonging trailing behind, violently destroying our property until ' it had holes, mud, sand and rocks allover and inside. I cried with ⁔ son as we did nothing to deserve this treatment ESPECIALLY MY SON. I wrote about it on Facebook telling my story XXL- Tom and our terrifying $D at fairCampgroundview Albertas Cummings lake . These are not only supposed to be Respectful business people in fairviews community but after the Facebook post and photos of our destroyed belongings and my little b//oys crushed Gatorade and his pop. These uncivilized pathetic adults ⁔volved peoples lives Reputation and have no conscience about what damage they've caused. I give this pond this town and all these people a big fat 0.0.0.p.0

The campsites are definitely more secluded as in there's lots of trees surrounding them which we liked. They were a little bit smaller than expected but I wouldn't call them small they could all still fit a travel trailer in them. The group area was okay it was kind of awkward though. Thought it would be more open than it was but there was a few random spots of bushes kind of thing. Also we liked the playground but would have liked to be able to see the playground from the group area just so the kids can play without someone sitting over there constantly with them. Would like to see swings on the playground. Baseball diamonds were awesome, check for bees nest under the stands though as one of the little girls got stung. The showers were terrible there was about 1min of hot water the 3 nights we were there, no exaggeration. I would %100 pay for a loonie shower if it would give a warm shower. Also is there a rule saying we have to shut the red gates at the front everytime, because that was really annoying, also it's like one lane traffic going through the gates.

We love to come together with family or other groups at the group area. The play park is wonderful large for children. There is a cook house as well. Another area is set aside for camp use with various stall. There is a boot launch available. There is room for wheelchair users to camp. However the fenced off area is somewhat difficult to access on rainy days. I upgraded to five stars as I found out that there are wheelchair accessible shower stalls and bathroom facilities.
