When I called the Credit Counselling Society the first time I felt hopeless. I felt like I was never going to get out from under the pile of debt I created for myself. Then Tannis picked up the phone, and right from the beginning made me feel like there was hope. That there was a way out of this and most importantly that I wasn't the only one in this situation who was feeling this way. We created a plan together where I felt included and wasn't just given a list of things I needed to do and then shuffled off the phone because another call was waiting. You make a totally FREE appointment and the staff take their time to understand your situation and come up with MULTIPLE different ways to tackle it, which I thought was fantastic. After that first call, I felt like I finally had some hope. Hope that one day I'd be able to not worry about how I'm going to make my next debt payment. I could not recommend this service enough, if you're on the fence or not sure if these services work, I'm here to tell you that they do. I'd even go a step further and say this has the potential to be the best phone call you could make for yourself if you're in a similar situation to me and the countless others here.
