I was initially skeptical about travel insurance for my mum coming to visit me from Nigeria. I thought, well, my mum does not have any health issues so there’s no need to worry about insurance. However, I discussed with my siblings and we decided to just have one just in case. Behold, my mother’s flights kept being delayed and she missed her connecting flight. All this stress led to a minor heart attack on the last flight to Vancouver. She spent quite a while in the hospital and her bill was a little above 60,000CAD. Good thing we had a 100k coverage, and you guys came through and sorted the bills. It would have been a great mess. Thanks

UPDATE: After going to several different places for quotes on home insurance, the co-operators not only had the least expensive insurance to offer, but also the most comprehensive-covering more at a higher value that any of the competitors. Very pleased with our insurance options from this branch.

Regarding financial investments; The staff are super friendly and knowledgeable. I felt well informed of my financial options without any pressure to make a decision that day.

It has been a nightmare dealing with this company to actually try to get a claim resolved. Had a water issue from a leak in a pipe which damaged the floor walls and baseboard, it’s been almost 2 weeks and I’m still waiting to have the work approved to be fixed. The people at the centre I called to get info on how to claim were quite rude and the adjuster has been dismissive, not assuring, not friendly or supportive and has basically been avoiding me and the contractor that she assigned to my file. I will be cancelling the insurance as soon as this has been completed. Do not recommend.
