Update: The manager reached out and explained how OHIP funded physio works. I wish this was posted somewhere so clients could understand the process. The only miscommunication was the email I got saying it was a 10 week waitlist when I already identified I was an urgent referral.

I came her once for OHIP funded physio. The staff were nice and the facility was clean. However, I did not like that your first appointment was with a physio therapist but all your follow up appointments were not. Out of all the other physio places I have been to this is the first one where you do not work directly with the same physio therapist for your whole treatment.
The other odd thing is that they have tons of open appointments online, but for OHIP funded physio they have a 10 week waiting time. By the time 10 weeks rolls around I would have missed my ideal time to be doing physio.

I had a great experience here. I was recommended to come here by my insurance after a car crash.

Got a lot of help Ron was my physiotherapist for this whole endeavour and was awesome. I’m a shy person when first meeting others, but found Ron easy to talk to and made me more comfortable at the clinic, he gave me great exercises to do on a sheet I still have at home. I personally have some medical knowledge due to family professions, but he explains the reality of my injury well along with a booklet to read over to understand more. Along with always checking to see my overall condition and progress since last time I was in.

During my time I met with Casey an Occupational Therapist there early on to see how I was on a mental stand point after the crash. I only had one appointment with her but she was quiet nice with recommendations, and did open the door in case I was having issues after the fact from the event.

The last appointment type staff I had work with was Paul a massage therapist, we spoke about the reason I was their along with outside injuries (as they affect main reason). He explained things well, what was he was doing, followed my tolerance level. Very good, helped a lot, loosened up the muscles of problem. Just great I don’t know the right words to say here.

To add more, I came here over a period of 3 months 1-2 times a week depending. I had good interactions with everyone from those at reception to those I had appointments with. Do/will recommend to others looking for such services in the area.

(This was long, I don’t summeris well; also meant to write this over a little week ago but got busy and forgot till now.)

My wife and I have had Ron Herman help us with physiotherapy several times for hip and arm injuries. In every case he idagonosed the problem correctly and gave us excercises that fixed the problem quickly. He was a pleasure to work with, going over all our questions thoroughly and making sure that we knew how to do the exercises. We would highly recommend him to anyone who needs physiotherapy.

Everyone here is so friendly and helpful. I went there for massage therapy and it was amazing, they made it so comfortable and relaxing. My fiance also went here for physio and had nothing but good things to say about his physiotherapist.

After a motor vehicle accident where I sustained neck and shoulder injuries I came to Sports Medicine for therapy.
This clinic is professional and caring offering clients excellent care and emotional support. I was lucky enough to have Julie Moss-Kujala as my lead physiotherapist guiding me through my recovery where she put me "not only in her hands" but in the hands of other members of the Sports Medicine Team where they all worked together providing me with the tools to recover and now do self care.
Julie was a strong advocate when dealing with my insurance company on my behalf. I have great respect and appreciation for all who worked with me during this difficult time and would strongly recommend their services.
My sincere thanks?

I'm so happy my doctor sent me to Lifemark Collingwood! I was very impressed with the professionalism and kindness of all the staff, especially my therapists. The exercises I was shown to help with my problems have been really helpful and to ensure I was doing them properly, they even sent me an email demonstrating them! I had seven appointments and now try to do all the exercises every day. Thank you Lifemark!
