I broke my wrist in October and I only waited about an hour to get seen! The nurses and doctors are all very nice. I got a cast done up and had to go back for recast appointments. Everyone is very efficient and nice!

The team here is absolutely amazing! I was here on my own and they treated me very well, the last three times I was here I saw excellent doctors. But good service starts from the moment of screening.
English is not my first language and sometimes even though I have a little difficulty describing what I need, I always have positive support from everyone. I can't thank them enough.

One negative point is that it doesn't open 24 hours and sometimes we have to wait in line for many hours.

Thank you, professionals, for taking such good care of us “even if sometimes they are overwhelmed”.

Yesterday, I sliced a good chunk of my finger while cooking and had to get stitches. The moment I showed up, all Health Care Staff were amazing. Immediately the book in nurse recognized I was bleeding. The nurse quickly paused who she was currently checking in and looked at my hand. Saw that I’d live, she quickly booked in the original new patient and began my intake process. From there, each step taken towards addressing my finger and getting it stitched up was very quick. Each person throughout the various steps was efficient, kind, and professional. All things considered, the health care staff were amazing and the overall experience was tolerable. So thank you!!

If I could give negative reviews, I would. I came in because I was about two months post-ACL and meniscus surgery and had been beaten up. I had no visible bruises and was fine, but I came in to have a record in case I decided to press charges, as well as concern for damage to my operated knee. Despite receiving friendly service from nurses, I waited over an hour (expected) to see a doctor. Her behaviour was nothing short of abhorrent. No physical test of my knee or anywhere else was performed, and our five-minute conversation can be summed up to her scolding me for not going to the police immediately. She was angry and condescending. She expressed no regard for the delicate situation as the aggressor is my 18-year-old brother. It had been less than 24 hours since a frankly traumatic incident and she displayed absolutely zero professionalism toward me. Furthermore, I went to see my surgeon 2 weeks later, who discovered my MCL had been partially torn. If this doctor had been educated and professional, it could have saved me 2 weeks of unknowingly straining a ligament further. She also added that she primarily works with domestic violence victims as well as the centre part-time. So if an older, short-haired blond woman attends you, I'd request a different doctor.

Every experience that my husband and I have had at the Cochrane Urgent Care has been exceptional. We had excellent care from the doctors and staff. They were able to diagnose some very serious medical issues for my husband. I highly recommend this facility and feel that we are very fortunate to have it here in Cochrane.

If I could leave a 0 star review, I would. My pregnant wife was recommended by a nurse that we had spoken with on the phone (dialed 811) to come here. So naturally, I drove her here all the way from calgary regarding her bad sore throat just for the doctor to miss that she’s 31 weeks pregnant until she told him! And he was about to prescribe a drug that wasn’t even safe for pregnancy. My wife and I are very health aware and so we naturally asked the doctor questions when he would just carelessly assume without even asking her many questions about her condition/doing a proper evaluation. Even worse, at the end he said “I gotta go, I have other patients to take care of.” Like what? That’s not how you treat a patient, regardless of their condition! Even the nurses asked us “why are you even here”. Overall the experience was horrible. Never coming back.

Six weeks ago I brought my daughter (who has Prader-Willi Syndrome and struggles with crowds and people she doesn't know) to Cochrane Urgent Care. She had broke her radius at the elbow. The staff who worked with her (Clay, Megan, the x-ray technician, & Dr. Schoombe) that night and the weeks following during our visits for repeat x-rays were kind, caring, informative and able to recognize my daughter needed a slower pace—thus meeting her at her level. Thank you for the excellent care!

I came to the urgent care a few weeks ago with a huge splinter in my a$$! The doctor was able to extract the splinter and the ordeal was painless and quick. The staff were kind and efficient and made light of the situation to put me at ease. 🙂
