Grimshaw, petite ville de l'Alberta : on ne s'attend pas à trouver un établissement de cette qualité perdu au milieu de nul part... L'hôtel est récent, les chambres spacieuses et confortables, la piscine remarquable. Il n'y a pas de restaurant, mais il y a tout le nécessaire dans la chambre pour se faire à manger (en revanche, pas de problème pour le petit déjeuner).

Spent the weekend at this hotel for a hockey tournament.
-Pool was not open
-Door handles were falling off the bathroom door
-TVs didnt work
-No hot water
-no heat in room
- closet door was broken
-several stains on carpets
-Kids were not aloud to be in rooms or halls even mid day when staff knew three hockey teams were staying.
-Staff were extremely rude
When calling about tv and hot water was told they have no maintenance on weekends and best they could do was notify maintenance Monday.

I highly recommend not staying at this hotel.

We stayed 2 nights. The hotel was a very pleasant surprise, especially based on some of the negative reviews, which are not justified. The rooms were quiet, very clean and well maintained. The staff was very friendly. key cards require a few trys to open the locks, but not a major issue. Breakfast was simple but adequate. The price was a great deal.

The room was fine, older but clean. Bed was springy, firm, but comfortable.

Breakfast was toast, waffles, or cereal, which could do with a hot item or two.

Wifi was working - wasn't working during the last number of months.

Pool was "down" when we arrived, but later, the staff opened it up. It was freezing in the pool and the pool area. As noted in previous reviews, the hot tub still doesn't work - it's in the pictures on most travel websites - but not actually advertised by the hotel.

If you are passing through Grimshaw this is the place to stay, it's THE BEST small town hotel we have stayed in and it's better than a lot of big city hotels in cleanliness, service and facilities.||If you are travelling with kids they will love the pool and the waterslide, the pool is constantly checked by the maintenance guy the place is spotless as are the rooms, the hallways and the pubic areas, it's obvious that the staff take pride in the work they do in the hotel.||Add to that, when we left I thought I'd left my laptop when I phoned back the staff at the front desk checked our room, searched the breakfast area for us, they looked everywhere, they couldn't have done enough for us, and that was very much appreciated. Thankfully my laptop turned up, my wife had packed it in one of our cases :I||All in all we would highly recommend the Coast in Grimshaw.

The staff were awesome! The only space that could use a bit of improvement was some more hot protein items available on the breakfast items. Not everyone can eat flour based items and dairy. Everything else was great, thank you kindly everyone 🙂

I usually stay here when working in the area. I always get the same nice lady at the front counter, she is always very accommodating, and I look forward to just talking with her. The cold breakfast leaves lots to be desired. Pool is never working, wifi was down last visit. Rooms are decent and clean.

as someone who works night shift i cant rent a room from 4am to 3pm your forced to pay for two nights staff was not helpful if its not in a computer they cant help if you want to pay on debit you get attitude as a frequent customer you would think you'd get treated better bad experience everytime since the name change from pomeroy
