Stopped in to get some recommendations for our 1 week stay in the Avalon Peninsula and was not disappointed! The staff are incredibly helpful and knowledgeable, and can give directions and recommendations for your trip (including down to some road conditions!). Shout out to Monet in particular for all your help! Definitely stop by at the start of your trip so you get the most out of it!

St. John’s Visitor Centre; Great staff and ambassadors for St Johns and your province. Andrew They didn’t give us any information as well as information B entertained us with stories, history and humour not to mention the information we were looking for. Andrew Z, perfect counter balance with maps and transit info. We left laughing and had a great day. Not once did we get lost, wouldn’t have mattered if we were - as we would be found at the same time. Yup

Incredibly helpful! Monet, the guide helping us went over and above, providing detailed information for all our stays and giving us a bunch of maps which she marked personally. Made the rest of our trip so much more enjoyable

The City of St. John's Visitor Center is a very useful and informative center for travelers exploring Newfoundland. Located near George Street, this Visitor Center is a must visit for helpful staff and wealth of knowledge for the area.

Inside the center, a welcoming vibe greeted all visitors. The staff members showed genuine friendliness and a deep understanding of local events. Andrew, one of the center's host, was a helpful and knowledgeable individual. He generously shared insights about the region's events and attractions. The presence of a handwritten display detailing daily weather and temperature was a thoughtful touch. There is access to the public washroom if visitors need but requires key access. There was a large amount of brochures and pamphlets that showcased surrounding areas in Newfoundland. It was a valuable resource for travelers seeking to explore St. John's and the surrounding area.

Also, Andrew recommended the website, Iceberg Finder, allowing visitors to track and even submit iceberg sightings while travelling through Newfoundland. Don't forget to sign the guestbook!

Five star service, smiling, generous, knowledgeable, whatever your interests, just tell them and they will offer to-the-point, relevant suggestions to personalize and maximize your stay. I am not a bot, I assure you. Amy was there when we went, both times, and was tremendously helpful!
