Nice visitor center with plenty of parking. You can also climb up directly to signal hill building if you need a hike. Very well paved trails. They also have nice documentary so you can learn some history.

I love this place. You will see the ocean look out view, city view, historic spots, beautiful lake and the choco cafe all at once

Informative staff and place to learn about the region. Lots of great view points just outside the visitor center. We arrived in time to join the guided walk up to Cabot tower, which was really informative. There are washrooms and a coffee shop for drinks and snacks available here.

My husband and I arrived at the Center at 5:10. We wandered around reading the various displays. We waited for the doors to open to view the video - I eventually went out to ask about it and was informed that it was an on demand showing and was 20 minutes long - and they closed at 6 PM - it was 5:45! I asked if we might watch it til 6. They allowed us to watch it until 6 coming in to tell us it was time to close!!! We were disappointed that someone wouldn’t be around for the less than 10 minutes it would have taken for us to complete watching the very interesting historical video of Signal Hill!!! I was told we could come back tomorrow- I mentioned to pay another $18?
There was no mention of giving us a voucher!
Very disappointed!!
