A very discouraging and upsetting experience. No urgency at all in responding, you have to bug them in order to get a reply in a reasonable time. I felt more alone during the process of trying to get help, than I felt dealing with the abuse. Please do better, when we come to you for help- most of us are already at our wits end, there's no need to make us feel even more unimportant or pushed aside.

I am honestly become truly disappointed with this agency! They really need to get organized! I had two assaults! Not too far apart! The first one the worker taking my information so I could get support and counseling never even kept in touch and dropped me like I'm a nobody! I get sent to efry again with police, truthfully wished police and victim services would use anyone else but these guys, and after year half for my self I have my worker tell me she dropping my case for new job. I don't have new worker! Fighting my court case on my won! And when I finally get a counselor who NOT supportive at all who never told .e her name all she says to me is where is the $$$! Never mentions it before the sessions!
I'm like what you talking about! We not for profit! We expect u to pay! It don't matter if you have 8sessions for vs so whatever you do! Run from these guys they are scam to not help!

Ill be updating soon. However just thank you so much to this society and all they do for us. Its a gem in a landmine. I only wish I went to them sooner. If your being abused please get some help. You deserve peace and love, honey. Elizabeth society might be able to ease you back into normal society. Love you all "me toos" ~TB

This place is amazing! After only a year's wait, they hooked me up with someone who wasn't a therapist, refused to do in person meetings, and told me I had something that I've never actually been diagnosed with. If you're at risk of ending things, this place will refuse to help you. Oh, and I had to pay for all that. Really, though. Run from this place, especially if you're a victim.

I met with Patti at Elizabeth Fry in Kelowna. The experience was beyond discouraging. I met with Patti, she was not prepared for the meeting. Her cell phone was ringing and she checked the message while in our meeting. Patti started the meeting off by telling me about Elizabeth Fry’s financial restrictions and limitations. She gave me numerous reasons why they couldn’t help me without knowing anything about me. Patti gave me zero confidence in this Not for Profit Organiziation. I told Patti that I wanted to know what programs they had to offer and what they could do to help vs telling me everything they couldn’t do to help. Patti said she would call me back with information, I have not heard from her. The whole experience was upsetting, discouraging and beyond unprofessional. This Organization is taking donations from various sources and is not providing the services it should be.

I loved this place. I am not sure what the other reviews are talking about. I had a great time. I met with a younger Victim Services Worker who had been there for about 5 years. She guided me through the whole process and provided me the emotional support I needed. I will refer other here.

These people at the most amazing persons whom have be sent from heaven to deal with you emotional wel being they know what your dealing with and respect your privacy...some you can trust and confide in truly a sacred place for rose dealing with abuse they truly can help you when in need
