This company honestly has the worst customer service ever. My father passed away suddenly and had a loan through capital direct . In trying to get everything straightened out and dealt with for my 79 year old mother who just lost her spouse of 54 years. They have harassed and threatened foreclosure on her house over 19000 dollars and refused to work with us at all. Didn't return calls in a timely manner claimed to have not recieved emails or voicemails from us. Continued to attempt to take payments out of my deceased father's closed account even though we communicated it to them . And are attempting to charge my mother $200 for each payment that was returned . In speaking with a manager Derrick I was basically told that he wasn't expected to be nice or provide service just give me the facts and that they will attempt to foreclose and aren't willing to work with us at all to get this rectified. I have never dealt with such an unprofessional and horrible company in my entire life. My mom and I are going through the worst possible time I am an only child trying to help and support my mom and navigate everything and Capital direct has been absolutely awful. I have been in management and customer service for 30 years and honestly have never experienced anything like this. Nor would I have ever treated a customer the way we have been treated. I understand there is money owed we have no issue paying that and we are in the process of selling her house as she cant be on her own. So capital direct will get their money. But to be as unfeeling and unwilling to work with a customer going through such a horrible time is completely unacceptable in my opinion . I am telling everyone I know and even a few strangers about this horrific experience.
