Most ridiculous business hours, anywhere.
*seems they ALWAYS have alcohol but are constantly out of fruit and coffee cream and juice…. And the only juice available cold is juice used to mix with liquor.. support the alcoholics muchSoooo much beer and alcohol. We don’t need that in this store, should have more food options or pet options or just get rid of it al it does it cause problems on base! Enough with the alcohol, if my kids can’t come in a liquor store in Brandon why is it right there when we go to the Canex. Ew, especially when there are SO many alcoholics and alcohol-assisted DV cases in shilo.

HOURS ARE TERRIBLE Families shouldn’t need anything from the canex after 6 on a Monday? Or 5 on a weekend..? It’s beyond inconvenient , especially when there are so many people who need jobs and would work if it was open until 9 like a normal store, or later like a regular gas station.. is it really that hard to stay open a few hours later?
After 12+ years they ALL OF A SUDDEN make you prepay for fuel..this place just gets worse and worse! I truly used to like to support the canex but I’d rather support the family who owns the ESSO off base…
Be weary when purchasing! Shelves say one price and then you’re charged a higher one!

idk i’ve been here a couple times and it’s nothing horrible. i’ll give four stars because i have had no negative experiences.

What's not to love about our local canex? If you're looking for food, furniture or alcohol, this is the one stop shop. The barbershop is awesome and so are the on site restaurants.

The recent renovations have brought in so many different kinds of grocery items and has saved me time and money as I no longer need to drive to Brandon to get stuff for baking or dinner.

The employees are amazing, and if you want to see something in store, you can request it and they'll try to get it for you.

Convenient place to shop if you are in/near to Shilo. The guy that does their cleaning is always doing a great job and his happy greetings always put a smile on my face. There are many people whom provide a friendly yet professional presence there within their different businesses. Great place!

If you are new on base for short or long term eventually you will discover Canex. General store that has most goods including boot laces if you ever needed some, or drinks on hot days. Excellent premium coffee shop where they have your regular go to's or a few unique blends like rolo espresso, but they also make breakfast and lunch options as well. There is also a place directly in the middle called garrison grill where they make burgers, pre made wraps ready to go, pizza. There is a guild insurance, barbers shop, Shilo stag where creative individuals keep up on whats happening on base, a bank/ credit union? Lastly the entire staff of every place is polite, helpful, and sometimes funny. Ordered a bag of chips and a choco bar came to 6.66 the lady and me had a good laugh about it.
