It was my first time going to Mayerthope and I was feeling quite hungry so I spotted this restaurant and decided to eat there, the food was immaculate the service was amazing everyone was very friendly and the portion of food that you get is insane for the price that they offer it for I was genuinely surprised. Safe to say I'd definitely drive the long distance to come again. I recommend the ice cream as well super filling and delicious 🙂

Coming from edmonton to grande prairie, saw the sign, we love burger baron in edmonton and there is not many left so we thought we would stop and glad we did. Very clean resteraunt, friendly staff. Love the old arcade games kids loved it too. Have to say the food was amazing. The barons in edmonton can learn a thing or two from this establishment. The poutine has real fresh mozzarella and not curds. The buns were thick and fresh. This is a place I would frequent if I lived close by. Was upset to see a for sale sign in the window because this place is wonderful.

Pretty bad, ice cream wasn't the ordered flavour, for neither my friend nor I, just vanilla swirl and chocolate swirl instead of butter pecan, he got white chocolate and it was vanilla. Chicken burger was sketchy as the lettuce was brown and the French fries weren't even cooked through.

This was a road side visit for us. The prices are very high and do not match food quality. Example would be $25.99 for fish and chips or 6.99 for a burger that comes with nothing but you can add a side for an equator higher cost to the burger.

Fries were not seasoned, nor was the fried chicken.

I recommend you keep driving.

We bought a mushroom burger, chicken burger & a pinacolada shake. Friendly happy workers. Spoke little english. No problem, just point to your menue item. Good people. The MUSHROOM BURGER meat was rubbery and barely a 1/4 inch thick. The bun fell apart. The CHICKEN BURGER
MEAT super thin. There was more coating on both sides than chicken, it had 2 table spoons of sauce,(WHICH I SCOUPED OUT) 1 wilted iceburge sprig, with 3 bits of fresh onion. The onion was the freshest part. The bun was not a quality texture bun. It fell apart as well. The shake tasted like EXCESSIVELY sweet milk, no flavoring. It was so bad we couldn't drink it. There was no coconut, pineapple, flavour at all. We tried, but gave up. The sugar rush was gross. We used the bathroom, which was very dirty. The soap was watered down so much, it wouldn't lather. Sink and toilet very unsanitary. Not worth the cost. We would have returned the order, but we never started to eat it for a good half hour down the cowboy trail. Then realized the poor quality. Won't be going back. Lovely people running the place thats why I gave it 1 star.

Just stopped by for a milkshake and poutine ! It was delicious, atmosphere was great my kids loved the games. The people were very nice.
