It's a beautiful place to have a nice farm experience. They gave us a wagon ride and its every 15 minutes. We were allowed to pick 3 flowers. There were bubble station as well. They have portable washrooms and picnic tables too. We walked in the sunflower fields and took awesome pics. Overall its a good place for kids and adults as well. Please don't forget to take water bottles to hydrate yourself.

Cannot recommend visiting Brantwood Farms enough!
The Sunflower Festival is a fabulous day out with the family with so much to see and do: a wagon ride, games, food, music and a beer tent!
Not to mention - obviously! - the stunning fields of sunflowers and wild flowers!
It has become our yearly family tradition that we always look forward to! 🌻🌻🌻

Went to the sunflower festival with my kids, and it was a great! The fields of flowers were absolutely gorgeous and we had a fun time walking through the trails and meeting the cows. Great low-price activity for families, with lots of photo opportunities!

Very nice experience to pick up strawberries but sadly, the lands were full of weed as well, which is a problem for the strawberry plants to grow. They advice in their website that the lack of strawberries is due to the cold weather, no hit yet, but is obviously due to the presence of weed in the fields. My visit was last Sunday, June 29, 2025.

It was a treat!!! 🐣💗

Hopping on a wagon ride to an easter egg hunt location can never be more exciting than this✨✨. Children are able to collect as many eggs 🪺 as they want in exchange for a sweet treat🍬💗 (there's also a hidden golden egg hunt for an extra special prize🤩).

Their Easter Eggstravaganza includes Easter Egghunt (with a special guest😉), photos opportunities📸, cozy bonfires🔥🪵, baby animals🐥🫏🐮🐇, arts & crafts activities🖍️, treats 🍬for the children to take home, and a wagon ride to the egg hunt location🚜.

The event itself is a time ticketed 🕛🎟️event, so make sure you book your timeslot (on their website🧑🏻‍💻) before it solds out in the season and arrive on time to avoid missing your wagon ride & egg hunt (I recommend arrive 15min prior to your scheduled time). (Note that the tickets must be purchased in advanced and are limited. No walk-in spaces will be available. Tickets are non-refundable & non-transferable.)

They also provide in-house cookies & other bakes and drinks for purchase. Lots of ample parking 🅿️spaces, easy to navigate farm, portable washrooms🚻 are available (with hand wash stations), dogs welcome🐾 (must stay on leash)and very welcoming & fun host.

And they will operate whether it's rain or shine - dress accordingly☺️ and don't forget that camera🤳🏻.

Overall, our experience has been fantastic💯 and definitely recommend this place for your next Easter activity.

So, Brantwood Farms is this long‑time family‑run U‑pick gem on Powerline Road outside Brantford. The Pate family’s been at it since the 1890s—like four or five generations deep—growing everything from rhubarb and strawberries in the spring to apples and pumpkins in the fall .

Come spring and summer, it’s all about fresh berries, veggies, and their cut‑your‑own flower field (sunflowers, dahlias – up to 60+ types) where you can grab blooms and selfie opportunities . Their farm shop is packed with baked goods, preserves, pickles, and other Canadian‑grown goodies sourced from local producers—basically comfort food central with apple pies, cookies, dumplings—you name it .

Fall’s the big season. They throw weekend Fall Festival events every September and October packed with apple‑picking (14 kinds!), pumpkin patches, corn mazes, hayrides, mini obstacle courses, pumpkin bowling, animal visits (goats, rabbits, a highland cow), plus fun stuff for kids like giant jumping pillows and straw castles . It’s over 20 activities per event weekend—not a snooze fest by any means.

They also host school and seniors’ groups for educational field trips, teaching how apples, pumpkins, corn grow—super hands‑on and meant to spark curiosity .

Open Monday to Saturday 9–6, Sunday 10–5 (though hours can vary with seasons) .

In short—a chill farm vibe, great for families, date days, or just grabbing some local fresh eats. Very Brantford‑rootsy, heaps of charm, and tons to do whenever you go.
