The bed is absolutely comfortable one of the best I stay in many hotels due to my job and this one has got one of the best beds I’ve ever laid in massive bathtub. Love that as well it is clean huge TV in the bedroom all in all, pretty darn good. The only downside that I have with it is it does not serve breakfast.

I’ve been staying here for work for months, the Innkeeper is a really nice guy, and treats us well.

The rooms are dated but functional, a place to lay your head.

I called ahead, no idea what we were getting.
We got there very late but the owner came right away.
He offered us a choice of 3 different kinds of rooms but decided on the motel part because of our dog.
The room is older but super clean and nice looking.
Also had a kitchenette.
The price was great and I told him we might be back again for another night depending on how things went in the Hat.
We did come back a second night and he gave us a deal on the same room.
He is very helpful and has a sense of humor.
He has a cute little dog a a really cool parrot. I honestly would recommend this place.
There are lots of little places near by to get some food.

Came here for the blues jammin. The town is kinda a hidden gem 😎. And the hotel is what I expected. Smells good and clean and buddy at the front desk is a nice fella Man a few words but a good fella non the less. The restaurant just a few steps away is up to standard as well. If you came here and didn’t have fun there is something wrong with you

We have stayed here a handful of times in the past as we have family in the area. Not a great hotel but clean enough and we have not experienced the rudeness of the hotel owner, Michael Lee, as others have.
We reserved a room for this past weekend but when we got there Michael told us the hotel was full.
He told us there was something going on in the community and that’s why he was full.
So apparently reservations mean nothing and will not be honoured. Appears to be First Come First Served.

If I could rate it a 0/5 I would. Never in my life have ever dealt with such a rude owner. He does not listen, interrupts you while you are trying to work with him, and does not accommodate easily. Finally I gave up, and hung up the phone, because I couldn’t bare listening to him yell at me, for simply asking if I could have one room on Friday and two on Saturday. He told me if I did t book two rooms nights, he was going to cancel all of them…. And that’s exactly what he did.
I would rather sleep in my car on the side of the road, than give this guy any business.
Do not recommend this place at all.

We were in Bow Island while my husband worked a few days. We used to live here, and being a small town, I didn't think the lodging would be that great. I was pleasantly surprised! The ground floor room was spotlessly clean, and super comfy beds. The floors are laminate, which made it seem cleaner. A complimentary breakfast is served as well, where you can design your own omelet. Definitely recommend this motel for anyone traveling through or staying for work.

Business brought us from Calgary to Bow Island. Bow Island Lodge is right on the highway - north side when heading east.||Check-in was quick and within minutes we were in our room. Queen Bed, cushioned arm chair, desk with actual office chair, flat screen tv, small fridge, microwave, toaster oven, 2 burner hot plate as well as dishes and a few pots and pans !!! The perfect place for an extended stay. ||The bed was oh so comfortable and we found extra pillows in the dresser. No need to use the a/c and the steam heat wasn't enough to get the room as warm as my husband likes. This does not mean the room was cold...it was not!||There is a eating area where a complimentary breakfast is available. Orange and apple juice, milk, coffee and tea with hot chocolate also available.||Bread for toast, an assortment of bagels and ceteals, bananas and oranges. You can also get scrambled or fried eggs to order. Lovely, bright (most windows face south and east) eating area with a big screen t.v.||We travel a lot for our business. We have been extremely lucky to find motels that, while they are not as expensive as the chains, have provided extremely pleasant experiences. Bow Island Lodge is on our list of "great places to stay!"
