Première expérience dans un B&B. Nous avons Adoré l'endroit. Direct sur le bord de la rivière St-Johns. Une vue magnifique! Les proprios sont Ukrainiens. Service parfait, propreté impeccable et déjeuner 5 étoiles. À ce prix au Québec on a un motel sur le bord de l'autoroute 15.

Cet emplacement est exceptionnel avec un quai devant nous sommes aller au lac par la petite randonnée au bord de l’eau voir la plus grosse hache big axe endroit de rêve

July 6th, 2025. Warm welcome, comfortable room, offered us a choice of breakfasts and we chose the continental which was excellent.
Five minute walk to the Big Axe Craft Brewery which has a good selection for evening meals.
Ukrainian owners were very charming.

Very comfy B&B. Owners are from Ukraine and helpful. Book in the room with nearby attractions and places to eat. Breakfast is standard and I will warn you the coffee is strong. Just the way I like it. Juice, yoghurt, bacon, eggs toast and home made raspberry jam

The B&B is situated on the Saint John River and the view from the property overlooking the river is very relaxing. The house is very clean with lots of knick knacks. When we arrived we were taken straight to our room. Our breakfast choice was requested and the time we required it. I asked if it was possible to get a cup of tea as it had been a long day of travel. We were told there would be a charge for that. He then showed us a table outside the room that had many items, tea, granola bars, chocolate bars etc etc that we could purchase. He then disappeared. There was no information on where we could sit outside and indeed if that was permitted. I got the impression that we should stay in our room. The room overlooked the river and was clean. The bed on the other hand was like a bouncy castle and only one pillow was given, but there was a pillow sham. Breakfast the next morning was adequate but sprinkling Everything Bagel on the home fries just made them taste horrible. What is wrong with just plain home fries. The tea bag that was left on the table was an Earl Grey. I asked if it was possible to change it to a Red Rose or any plain tea. He brought a box of assorted tea bags to the table and banged it down. There was a nice breakfast tea there. There was no offer of a refill for my husbands coffee, which was very very strong and no offer of hot water in which to redunk my tea bag. The owner is not very friendly, keeps dialog to a minimum and does nothing to make you feel welcome, which is opposite to how most B&B hosts do business.
