After experiencing cold rooms and taking forever to check in at 4 other hotels in Edson, the Baymont is wonderful.
The desk guy is polite and expedient. The warm room, TV, king size bed (all clean!) prove to be a wonderful retreat after a long day. I've never been much of a fan of continental breakfasts, this one is lacking, but that's not what I'm there for.

room looks fine but there’s no hair dryer, not even a freaking hook where you can hang your clothes. does not clean your room, i took the sheets off the bed to get changed but they just put it back on lol disgusting and they don’t vacuum the carpet. oh, the breakfast sucks too, you basically have to cook for yourself if they ran out of food. lastly, i barely see anybody at the front desk. overall, the experience was bad. don’t come here and waste your money.

Going to give the hotel a 1/5, what a piece of junk this place is and deserves a 0/5 if I could, I’ll give the room 2/5 because it had 3 beds for the three of us. No one at the front desk, cameras everywhere to the point I thought I was the one they needed to monitor. Definitely questioned if the bedding was clean or if they just re-made the bed. This place had renovations to the extent of new head boards, bathroom tile, vanity, and toilet. But everything else is old junk. The continental breakfast doesn’t exist, there’s a dark room and in there was a small container of mini muffins, loaf of white bread, cereal and milk, fruit flies own the place. Figured I’ll have an orange juice from the machine, didn’t even get the glass full before I gave up and left. Flies came out in the juice and it was clear, so awesome. Wouldn’t stay here again, would take my money back if I could get it.

Place is a dump. Toilet had a big old turd in it when i arrived. No toilet paper in there with it that i noticed🤢 Either way i paid it forward since management wasnt around for some reason...
Beetles in my bed and stains.
And why was my room so damp?
Whats with the orange juice machine spittin out clear liquid and bugs?
Even the crackhead i brought to my room for an hour was making fun of the place. Thats pretty bad.
Maybe i could choose better company as well but we arent rating me.
Anyways, next time my job sends me here i will quit or bring a tent instead.

Very dirty hotel with bugs!! There were bugs and bug droppings in the bed (not bed bugs but still disturbing). The bath was filthy, black scum all over, there were nails on the floor behind the bathroom door and holes in the wall where a towel rack used to be. Carpets are filthy. Outside door doesn’t close or lock. We checked in and checked out 10 minutes later. I’ve never been in such a dirty hotel.

I was not impressed at all. I spent 5 nights at that place, but never coming back. I'm a diamond Wyndham member, and honestly, this place shouldn't be Wyndham at all. They don't even have a guest laundry room. 🙄 Balcony is extremely dirty and dusty. Very noise place, etc.
