What is going on at this company this makes zero sense. Had coverage with them before no problems now all of a sudden a week before my closing date they inform me I can't get coverage for my newly built home. I've never had a non payment, a claim or any kind of issue. They won't even give me any real explanation as to why.

They have no clue on what they are doing. Wrong quotes provided .. for me, not one quote but 2!
No answer to emails, calls.. just ridiculous.
Do yourself a favor and shop around elsewhere. Worst insurance company I've EVER dealt with.

I was with Bay of Quinte for a few years shy of 20 years with my house and farm insurance. Great company until something happens. Never made one clam in all the years I was with BOQ, then had a house fire. NO Fault of mine. Fire report witch in detail stated the cause of fire. Would not recommend this company at all. The only good or nice anything about BOQ is the lady at the front desk in the Trenton Ont.Office. Wonderful person. I have never been spoken to or treated so poorly from a few I will say ladies in the Picton office. Very upsetting and unsettling experience. I would talk to other brokers before before even looking at this company.

Our family farm has been insured with Bay of Quinte for 60+ yrs. We had our barn damaged in the latest wind storm. George Taylor contacted us within minutes of filing the claim and the repair company he recommended was on site within the hour. We couldnt be happier with the service from both BQM and their barn repair specialist (Paul Linkie).
