Hidden within the commercial units that make up Doncaster Avenue is this humble shop that exclusively sells Games Workshop products. While their main product line is Warhammer 40k, they are are quickly extending their Age of Sigmar range with the arrival of the 4th edition of the game. They also carry the entire Citadel paints line.

The pre-order and backorder process at Battle Ready is very simple and easy to use, and I have personally ordered online-only miniatures, Blood Bowl teams, and Warcry warbands, all at great prices. The staff are all very friendly and accommodating to boot.

Be aware that Battle Ready is at the back of a shared unit. The front of the store sells Asian-centric goods and toys, including Gunpla, plushies, and Mr. Hobby products. I'm happy to support this place!

Cool place, nice tables, and great selection of paints and model kits. Would recommend going here to get your hobbie supplies and games. Haven't met the gaming community yet, but they seem friendly.

This is the best place in York Region for you to roll some dices with all those experienced players! The store also provides a variety of shopping choices for WARHAMMER. Owners are helpful and friendly as well.

A fantastic store with friendly and accommodating staff, as well as great prices on Warhammer products and an efficient backstock ordering process. At the time of writing this review, free shipping is offered within Canada with a minimum purchase threshold.

They work hard to foster a strong Warhammer community with ample table/terrain, and a Discord server to facilitate all aspects of game scheduling and hobby.

They share a storefront with another business so be aware when looking to visit. I'm happy to have discovered this hidden gem, and have become a regular customer.

My friend and I were trying to kill some time before dinner and decided to check out BattleReady Games as we were close by at Panda Hobby. When we arrived was a little surprised by how small it was at first but everyone there was super welcoming and didn’t pressure us to buy anything. They did mention they had recently opened and there was a discount and my friend but a pack he was meaning to buy already. They were very knowledgeable really addressed any concerns I had with starting this hobby, mostly a financial issue. Honestly I’ve gone to a couple other stores and sites to compare prices and they can’t be beat right now. I bought the Custodes patrol and blade champion both at a good discount. Their website is pretty polished, easy to navigate and clean. 10/10 *insert battlecry here*

Great place to get Gundam or Warhammer figures/models. The staff are super friendly and helpful. There are a bunch of tables in the back to play warhammer and they all have great terrain set up, ready to use.
