Really enjoyed the musuem, there is so much to see.

Only thing worth mention is on the website it states admission fee is by donation only.
When you arrive there is a board outside with suggested donation admission fees.
Once inside ( well, we barely got in the door) and the boy working yells.....you have to pay to look.
Ok, so I get charged $28 to enter (3 people). Thats not even the amounts listed on the suggested donations outside the door.
I don't mind paying....even $28 but they should either have a donation only or an actual fee. This is just confusing. What if I couldn't spare the extra? I'm sure a lot of people stop because its listed as free or pay by small donation.
Very off putting.

Neat little museum for local history buffs. Is way bigger inside than it looks from the outside.

It is important for kids to learn about the history of places they visit. This is a good experience and not expensive.

Loved this museum! It may look small from the outside but there's a wealth of history on the inside. One thing I loved about this museum is that unlike most museums, we were able to interact with the pieces (e.g. the organ, the record player, the radio). Tons of fun and the staff were fantastic. I'd recommend this to anyone visiting Bancroft

What an amazing place to learn about the history of our amazing town! Full of historical surprises and an absolute joy to walk around and learn about the historical way of life in our town. Clean, tidy and absolutely worth a visit!
