Such a great place. Everyone is super nice and the animals are well trained. Took my 8 year old who has never been on a horse before and she loved it. Trail ride was beautiful and the whole farm was a cool experience to see all the animals, price is super affordable

We had a pretty bad experience at Bacon Ranch farm for horseback riding this Monday. The place was old and not well-kept, which wasn't a great first impression. As beginners, we expected some safety instructions, but we got none. That’s quite concerning! There was barely any interaction with the instructors—just a quick "hi" and almost no "bye." We signed a waiver and went straight to the horses. My horse was acting weird the whole time and didn't listen to any commands, which was really scary. The 1-hour trail ride was dead silent, with no conversation or guidance from the instructors. The trail itself was also disappointing, just a path through some bushes with no nice views. I've been to other places and had much better experiences. I was excited for a ride in AB, but sadly, I can't recommend this place.

We did a family trail ride with my 70+ year old mother in law, husband and 6 year old today. It was so amazing. From the moment we started it was a lot of fun and the horses were so well behaved. Our son had an opportunity to ride a lot on his own with no one holding his horse. The horse was so well trained that all Celine had to do was call his name and did exactly what he was supposed to do. The other guide, I believe his name was Caleb gave our son a full barn tour and even made my son's cowboy hat look to match his. We got to see all the animals they have on the ranch and even got to see some fresh farm eggs. We definitely will be coming back

We did a two person trail ride this afternoon and it was wonderful. The girl who took us was very nice and prepared, and the horses are all well loved and taken care of. After the ride, the father took us around to see the rest of the animals and he was very kind and welcoming. All in all I would 100% recommend this farm! It was such a relaxing and peaceful outing. Thank you!

Had a wonderful time out at the Bacon Ranch for a 1hr Trail ride. The ranch was easy to find and was happy to see a variety of farm animals to look at as we made our way down to the horses. We were greeted by Celine who had a calm and friendly demeanor, which was settling for us beginners! Getting on the horses was a breeze and the trail was beautiful. It had a variety of growth and some small hilly sections. The horses were very well behaved and everyone had a great time. I would definitely recommend this activity for someone who's looking for a true Albertan experience. We will come back again!

I had the most amazing ride here, their property has beautiful trails. Celine was a true professional when it came to guiding me and working with the horses. I enjoyed my experience beyond words, and I will be going again!

My friend and I had a lovely experience at Bacon Ranch. It’s a family run business and it’s a beautiful older farm, with long trails through bush, trees, and grassy areas. The horses are gentle and well trained. Personally I loved the informality of this place, it was cozier and I felt more like I was riding horses on a family friends farm, than at a business.
