Not a place to go on a Saturday. The cashier who served me was terrific. I only wish there had been five more of her! It's a Saturday at lunch time and you have two cashiers open...? I spoke to the assistant manager and he says employees booked off. That sounds like a management problem. Lots of frustrated customers in line and twenty-five minutes to pay for my cart full of groceries became a me problem. Not worth the hassle.

Prices are really high. The new no name promo banners up are eerily similar to the ads in John Carpenter’s “They Live” movie. The produce always seems to be rotten with the whole section smelling putrid, if you shop on the “wrong day.” It isn’t kept stocked well. The fake security pages overhead and the excessive anti theft precautions make the average shopper feel like a criminal. There aren’t a lot of gluten free options. The staff is very nice though.

Update

So I've dropped it down a star as I've noticed there's been some changes not to impressed with. One is how they stopped pricing meat as 50% off and instead mark it like 10% off and if it doesn't sell stick in the freezer and sell expired meat for below value but not reduced to 50% off

Even their portions for flash food has gotten significantly smaller, the Loblaws company is already quite pricier than your average grocery store and the bargains were a big selling point they had. But without the bargains and high prices it's starting to look to be more affordable to drive to Walmart in Fredericton or victory meat in Lincoln even with high gas prices.

**Update**

They've now gotten much more bolder at this location, they are now selling expired frozen food on flash food if it doesn't sell till best before date on their pathetic excuse of a discount. If you see the pic on the flash food, they have expired frozen sausages and if you see in the pic I see sausages on sale for 50% off but it's not frozen and still fresh.

Ultimately your choice but just a heads up for those who are in the know.
