Actually had a great experience with the guy at the counter, went in to buy a new chainsaw chain and fuel. Was nice until some accounting lady came out and started giving the worker crap about doing the til. Customer service 101: wait until the customer leaves before you start going off on fellow employees. Thanks

Apparently John Deere clutch pullers are coveted as I can’t get a price or order one it seems without a runaround…their threads are not SAE or metric how nice of them to go out of there way and do this…and they won’t sell puller or give me a price and want to charge you to bring it in to pull a clutch…JD is going under soon a lot of upset people especially large scale farmers and big lawsuits

I have dealt with Jim over the course of a few years and multiple purchases. Jim has always handled everything with top notch service, including picking my equipment up in a snowstorm and returning it after repairs were complete. Always feel like I'm in good hands when dealing with Arnstein.

I broke the universal joint on my Bush hog 16-2 drive shaft so I brought it to Arnstein to get fixed because i didn't want to do it myself. If you drop an end cap you can have needle bearing everywhere. I knew the parts were relatively cheap and with the right tools it only takes about 15 -20 minutes to repair. When i picked up the part almost 2 weeks later because they never called the bill was a whopping $626.89. I couldn't believe it. I asked them to check again and again. They wanted $275 for 3hrs labour wow! And even the parts were overpriced when compared to Messicks site for BH 16-2 parts(scroll to driveshaft slipclutch) I asked to see someone in charge but David Culin wasn't there. I called him, left a msg and asked for a reply and he never did. So i went to Arnstein's again 2 days in a row and finally got to showed him the bill. He stood by his bill saying it was all good. I knew how long it takes to fix a universal joint because i had done it before and he still argued and stood by his 3 hr of labour. So i played a YouTube video of how long it takes to change out a universal joint he got all apprehensive because I caught him. We had a heated exchange, then he lowered the labour to 1 hr. and told me to never come back again that I was flagged lol. They are totally unprofessional. As if I'd ever go back there, I learned my lesson. Bottom line make sure you get a quote or they'll try to take you to the cleaners

I purchased a weed wacker for around $600. A few days after I complained of no power. They had it for a few days and said there’s nothing wrong with it. I don’t use it that often It’s been about a year and now it barely runs. They absolutely do not stand behind their products. I understand they do not manufacture them but I’m now out $600 and have I purchase another unit I will never deal with these guys again. I completely feel like they sold me a lemon and after the sale was made and paid they didn’t care. I can’t stress enough. Any dealer can sell a product but a good one stands behind it and they don’t.

Manufacturers beware! This company agrees to purchase manufactured products for retail and does not pay for the products when agreed upon. They are in default. Request pre-payment at all cost. Good luck!
