Visited Arctic Duchess and had a lovely experience. Jake, exceeded expectations with his hospitality and went above and beyond.

The experience is meticulously planned, with a thoughtful layout and nice touches, like hot chocolate and treats in the relaxation tent. Recommended for a unique and memorable cold plunge and sauna experience in the Northwest Territories

Do it!!!
Visited with friends from Toronto and absolutely loved our time at the Arctic Duchess.
Everyone was very friendly the sauna is wood fired, hot and has a stunning view. The cold plunge is cold but such a great experience and the relaxation tent is comfortable, clean and warm with lots of lovely snacks.
Everything you need (except your bathing suit) is provided. A wonderful experience! I’ll do it again and book a night time visit in hopes of watching the Aurora from the sauna!!

I visited Jake and Arctic Duchess Adventures with my team from work and it was spectacular! Everything about this experience was just amazing, from the history, location and Jake & Mike themselves. They made the cold plunge experience so welcoming to anyone who is will to take the plunge. The sauna was amazing, comfortable, and clean; the two hours we were there for just flew by! I recently visited Arctic Duchess Adventures with some colleagues, and it was an incredible experience. They provided us with towels and robes for the sauna and plunge, as well as slip-on shoes for getting to and from the relaxation room and sauna. The relaxation room had tea, coffee, and snacks available, which was a nice touch. The sauna was also very clean, and the essential oils added to the experience. I felt completely rejuvenated afterwards and would definitely go back again!

Had the chance to visit the Arctic Dutchess on a Saturday afternoon. Had a group of 6 for the Cold Dip / Sauna experience. Jake was really knowledgeable and hospitable. We had 2 hours of alternating between the sizable cold pool and 10 person barrel sauna. It was an amazing experience to see Yellowknife, the house boats and the sunsetting. Will definitely return.

I visited Jake and the Arctic Adventures team for a sauna and cold plunge experience. It was amazing! Jake was kind, informative, and such a gracious host. He answered all our questions and checked in every so often to ensure we were all enjoying our experience. It was wonderful and I would highly recommend this activity.
