I was insured there things have sure changed. The managers have changed so many times I don't think anyone has that many socks.

The customer service lady used to be wonderful she was fired for being a single mother and wanting to go see her children's games.

They added extra works times outside of what she already worked. They told her if she didn't show up she would be fired as soon as she did. When she complained to head office she was fired anyway. I don't recommend anyone go here. They are truly out for themselves!

The absolute worst customer service. Everytime I call this insurance company to either update my policy or renew, it’s a minimum 25 minute wait, sometimes up to 45 minutes. I’ve been with this company for many years now with no complaints other than the wait times when calling in. On their website they claim the wait times are the result of severe weather across Canada? Really?

I’m not wasting anymore time on this company, I would highly recommend shopping elsewhere where people actually answer the phone. Can’t believe I tolerated this type of poor customer service for so many years. Self inflicted, I know, but be forewarned when dealing with this company. You will likely experience what I’ve experienced as well as many others have experienced.

Allstate, please don’t even bother wasting your time with a reply. You should probably focus on answering your phones instead.

May 17 2024, Emailed Allstate Guelph in the beginning of the week, did not hear back. Therefore proceeded to call, not one time, but three. Note, be prepared to wait 20min+ in order to hear from anyone if at all. The representative was helpful, however allstate's policies on customer retention are terrible. I purchased a new car and needed to review my insurance policy , prior to that I needed to fix an issue with my account (vehicle pick up is today, but issue could not be reviewed until today, noting I had spoke to someone 3 days prior). For someone who has been with Allstate since my early years of driving, I am disappointed and am contemplating on moving our business elsewhere as there is 0 customer retention or grace.

I was with Allstate for a short time and not with them now but I needed something from them relating to my history with them. I contacted Ken Lamb and he was absolutley amazing. The customer service he provided was second to non even as a non-customer. Ken was alway great to deal with and always provided exceptional customer service. Thanks Ken!

I switched to home and car insurance to Allstate 3 years ago via one of this locations' sales representative, Ms. Grace Zhou, and have no any claims since. At the end of last year, I wanted to suspend my car insurance due to traveling. When I asked Grace, she was short and dismissive to send me only a form to sign without providing any proper info. It turned out she did not provide other options/ withheld the proper info at beginning because in her words, it would have only saved me " small dollars", but for her, she "needed to do more work in the future "on her end.

When confronted and asked for more info, she blocked me and passively aggressively sent me a screenshot of the general AllState customer service line and it was happened several days later after my request, and i was going to leave the country the next day. It's very discourteous and unprofessional .

After consulting with professionals, I have been advised that:
Professional misconduct of Ms. Zhou as follows:

1. Professionals misconduct. The house insurance coverage she put on was incorrect ( the function of one unit she set up was totally wrong) , which meant if I tried to make a claim, it could have been denied, and
2. As a sale representatives, you should not be privately messaging your clients, and all business communications should be done via your company business email.....
3. As a sales representatives, she arbitrarily blocked the active client.
4. Lack of competent english language skills. mixing up Mandarin and English writings in one simple email, which caused a lot of confusions and also shows incompetence.

I would NOT recommend Allstate. When I tried to escalate, I was obviously dismissed. I Absolutely would NOT do any business with Grace . She was persistent and acting nicely to get you in at the beginning until the initial commission period wore off - a simple request of suspension have caused so much difficulties to a client....

I recently had the great fortune and pleasure to work with Susan Good on some changes to my auto insurance policy. Susan was extraordinarily helpful, working hard to ensure that my family had adequate coverage at minimal costs. The care and dedication she showed while assisting me has far surpassed the service I have received by insurance agents in the past. It was truly refreshing working with such a competent and compassionate service provider. I highly recommend Susan.

There Main issue is there communications, answer or return calls. Delay Reply to emails. I hope they improve this as soon as possible.

Helpful and professional customer service heather was very friendly and Susan was so knowledgeable and professional in the insurance industry she really helped explaining my renewal and made sure I had all the right coverages I needed for my home and auto policies. She even found some ways to lower my rates! Overall great service! I will be renewing with Allstate for many years to come!
