Susan is such a breath of fresh air and brings so much life to the place. Everytime I have spoken with her on the phone she is so sweet, and genuinely does give above and beyond service.

I have intermittently frequented this establishment for slightly over a year, and I must express that my recent encounters have been unlike any I have previously experienced. Consequently, I find myself in a state of inner turmoil, disappointment, and exasperation.

A few months ago I made the hard decision to resume counseling services after a brief pause. During my initial session, I had the privilege of meeting a remarkable individual at the office who exhibited exceptional qualities of compassion, knowledge, and encouragement.

Subsequently, I had arranged for an appointment, which I attended, only to be informed that my appointment had purportedly been rescheduled. I had no recollection of such a modification and promptly conveyed this to the receptionist. I emphasized that I had not confirmed any changes with her. However, she dismissively asserted that she was the sole receptionist and insisted that my appointment would not have been rescheduled without proper confirmation.
Subsequently, her frustration seemed to be directed towards me, despite my attempts to maintain a respectful demeanor. I reiterated that my intention was not to be impolite, but I was certain that I had not engaged in any conversation with her regarding rescheduling. I expressed my disappointment regarding the situation. Surprisingly, she then contradicted her previous statement by suggesting that it must have been another staff member who made the changes, despite having just claimed to be the sole receptionist. She displayed no willingness to accept responsibility for the mishap and instead attempted to manipulate my perception by insinuating that I had participated in a phone call that never occurred. Eventually, we managed to schedule another appointment.

Unfortunately, the same issue recurred during my next appointment. Once again, I was informed that my appointment had been rescheduled, and to my surprise, it had been moved an entire month ahead. While I empathize with the fact that unforeseen circumstances can arise and schedules can be demanding, I must express my concern regarding the frequency of these incidents.

Today, after engaging in a pleasant conversation with a courteous, kind, supportive receptionist over the phone, I was once again informed that my appointment would need to be rescheduled. This ongoing pattern of disruptions is unprecedented in my personal experience. It is particularly disconcerting considering the agreement I had reached with the counselor to commence intensive therapy. Such occurrences raise concerns about the reliability and consistency of the services provided, especially for individuals who rely on this resource due to financial constraints that prevent them from affording costly counseling services elsewhere.

When I called the clinic to ask some questions about my appointment, the receptionist was extremely short and a bit rude to deal with. Not only was I made to feel like an inconvenience by asking questions, she had a very annoyed tone for most of the call, which was ended prematurely by the receptionist hanging up on me before I could ask anything else.
Considering the people who are calling this clinic are dealing with mental and emotional distress, it shocks me that a staff member would be so blatantly unprofessional in handling a phone call. I sincerely hope the counsellors treat their clients better than the front desk does.

terrible customer service. the lady on the phone today was so rude and wouldn't let me explain my situation and just hurried me off the phone. really need to make an appointment and they said I couldn't because we transferred therapists. we transferred therapists because she wasn't available for several months so decided to finally try someone else but wasn't told you could never go back to your actual therapist when they were available again!!!! needed someone to talk to while she was away so agreed to see someone new but we were never told it would be an ordeal to reschedule with our original person when available again. the lady on the phone was just like "we gave you the option to switch over so now you have to see if you can switch back and there is nothing we can do for you until the therapists look at the file etc"....at a place that deals with mental health the ladies on the phone should be way more understanding and patient and actually listen to your situation.

I was going to book here to get counseling but, nevermind. Whoever handles their phones is horribly rude and was pretty much rushing to get me off the line when I tried to book. She made me contact somewhere else without even hearing the fact that I had a referral. The lady on the phone gave me a number and no instructions on what to do and then when I tried to ask a question, she hung up on me mid-sentence.

If you've been referred here, ask your doctor to refer you to someplace else. Incompetent and lazy psychiatrists who are only interested in getting you out of their office as quickly as possible. Not only did I have a horrible experience, but I know someone who was misdiagnosed by these people.

Really odd that someone goes on vacation and doesn't have a appointment for a little over a month and they close the file all together and have to get another referral?!?.

Dt. Okoro should not be practicing, just scrolled on his phone during most of the assessment. Was very disorganized and unprofessional.
