This was our second renovation with Concept Build Group. Previously they redid our master, ensuite, stairs, and all of the doors on the top 2 floors of our house. This time, they converted storage space into a fantastic bathroom adjacent to our home gym. We had an idea of what we wanted to do but Dustin suggested adding a sauna and Anjela put together some great options for us. We couldn’t be more thrilled with the outcome, again!

We had a very small cramped master bathroom and Concept took on the challenge to create the bathroom of our dreams. We are so happy with the result and can’t wait to show all of our friends and family. It was even better then we could have imagined. Dustin and Wes are easy to work with and a great team. Will work again with this company in a heartbeat!

CBG took on a very challenging task renovating our 170 year old bathroom. Sloped floors and not square walls. They provided a great design which we followed for the most part but every time we decided we would like to add or remove certain elements the team was always very accommodating. In order to stay on task ownership would even get involved in the day to day projects. They even had the whole team show up one day to carry in our super heavy and awkward tub….a tub we changed mid project without any complaint from CBG. You need to have many years of experience and be very good at what you do to pull off all the nuances/challenges that our project provided. I believe when you look at the photos you can tell they knew what they were doing. Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful experience with a small ensuite bathroom and expanding a bit. From the beginning of the design process, started earlier than expected, trades arrived on time and kept the house relatively tidy, work completed with a exceptional detail, and they even returned in a timely manner when a few fix ups came up. We would highly recommend Concept Build Group. Our master bathroom was renovated with heated floors, tiled walls and floor, new vanity, lights, LED mirrors and glass walls with no entry door with the shower. The workmanship was superior. They kept us notified when they were showing up.

The project, a complete bathroom renovation, began the first week of June 2024 and was not completed until November 22nd (five and a half months later). Original estimate was 3-4 weeks.

Design presented was great and met our criteria for an easy to clean bathroom with maximum storage.

Unfortunately, the wrong size mirrored medicine cabinet was installed (dimensions were supposed to match the wall mounted cabinet for visual balance) and the custom built cabinetry did not meet expectations.

The design of the vanity was altered without our knowledge or approval. The original design had legs, mimicked the shower niche tile, and the sink overhung the cabinet below. The vanity installed was floating not freestanding, had a narrow ribbed, rough exterior that would be difficult to clean and the cabinet did not fit under the sink as evidenced by the bizarre, undulating gaps. The wall mounted cabinet had a mottled, damaged finish and the veneer work on the shelf was poor.

Thankfully, CBG replaced the mirrored medicine cabinet with one that was the proper width. It is a shorter height than the original design so the wall mounted cabinet next to it ended up looking oversized in comparison.

As the project dragged on, communication with CBG became difficult and estimated completion dates were hard to get. In October we agreed to have CBG give us the missing accessories (shower head, vanity legs, etc) and the project would be considered complete. We wanted an end so we could finish our bathroom before Christmas and we were unwilling to pay extra to have the cabinetry redone.

On the plus side, Wes (who did the physical work on our bathroom) was fantastic! The bathroom fan is whisper quiet and CBG generously added a hand towel holder to the project at no extra cost when we belatedly remembered we needed one.

Overall, we believe the project needed a slower pace in the planning stage so every detail was documented and approved before work began. We also believe that the cabinetmaker let down both CBG and ourselves. Custom made cabinetry should match the specifications of the customer and should be a better quality than what we received. As well, alterations should be communicated to the client for approval.

In the end, our collaboration was not successful but we wish CBG all the best in their future endeavors.

We recently had the pleasure of working with Concept Build Group for a complete renovation of our home, and we couldn’t be happier with the results! The finished results have exceeded our expectations—it feels like we’re living in a brand-new home! We are beyond thrilled with how everything turned out and can’t recommend Concept Build Group highly enough.
