I’ve been to Velotique a few times to fix up a used bike I bought online, and they’ve been amazing every time. Super friendly, patient, and clear — especially helpful since I’m not a local and still figuring things out. The staff always take the time to explain things and make you feel welcome. The shop is well-stocked, and the automatic door makes it really convenient when bringing your bike in. They’ve officially become my go-to bike shop in Toronto. Highly recommend 🚲

Last week I took my bike into Velotique to get the brakes adjusted & the pads replaced. I talked to Tommy with whom I had arranged to have a tire & tube replaced a year or so ago. As with the last time, he was very friendly & professional. After picking up the bike, there ended up being a secondary problem with it. When I took it back in, Tommy made sure that I would have it for the weekend. Great & friendly service. It’s nice to have a place I can depend on for bike service. Many thanks. Rob

Had a flat rear tire at Woodbine Park, found this place nearby, walked in and they were able to service it immediately so I can enjoy the resr of my day, great effcient service and friendly knowledgable staff.

Brought my bike in here for the first time to have my front and rear brakes adjusted and get some safety skewers installed for my tires and seat post.

They are super friendly and were quick to service my bike. They even put the skewers on for me at no cost. It was a pretty reasonable total in the end too!

I'll continue to visit for any servicing that I need for my bike! Also a plus that it's so close 🙂

Disappointing Experience and Poor Accountability

I had a very frustrating experience with this shop. I initially brought my bike in because the tires weren’t holding air. They told me the inner tube had been replaced, but the first time I went to ride the bike—several weeks later—the tires had lost pressure again.

When I brought it back, the staff told me that it’s normal to need frequent tire inflation and that the original service fee didn’t include further diagnostics. I felt that was unfair, especially since the issue hadn’t been resolved. Only after I pushed back did they reluctantly agree to take another look.

It turns out the technician never actually replaced or repaired the inner tube in the first place. There was no apology or acknowledgment of the mistake. To make things worse, when I went to pay, they told me not to worry because I was never charged for that original service—and then proceeded to charge me in full this time around.

Overall, the service was careless, the communication was dismissive, and the lack of accountability was disappointing. I wouldn’t recommend this shop to others.

I got my bike serviced here, it took 1 week and was notified by text to pick it up.

Initially, when I dropped my bike off, it wasn't in great condition. The bell had just snapped off, the gear shifting was jumping all over the place, my brakes were slow to engage.

When I got my bike, it felt brand new again. The shifting felt new again, the brake pads were cleaned and engaged perfectly, and they even fixed my bell which I felt was above and beyond.

Happy to be coming back every year to get it maintained.

The staff here are super friendly and helpful! He called me after checking out my bike to explain what the problem was and to update me on any price changes after the inspection. It was fixed in less than an hour! I’ll definitely be back. 🙂

Beyond 5 service!! Shout out to Rob, Tommy and Michael. They are very knowledgable and offer tons of great advices with patience and kindness.When you asked a question, sometimes they will even give you more than 1 answer, how amazing they are! Wish I’ve visited this bike shop earlier! The shop also has a lot of bikes to try out and with a good range of price too! You will also notice they have plenty options of accessories and a fully functioning repair department on site. Another good thing to know is that they focus on selling local brands. And if you buy new bikes from them, it comes with annual free tuning every year! Will recommend this shop to everyone.
