Upon my retirement and relocation to Guelph ON, I searched for a local financial advisor. Trevor Wright was listed among the top 3 advisors in the Kitchener-Waterloo, Cambridge and Guelph areas. Unlike the other 2 advisors, Trevor was “ independent “ and had access to a wide array of products from different providers. Trevor’s first area of concentration was to analyse the fees I had been paying. The results shocked me. Trevor was able to reduce my fees ( admin, back end etc) by almost $10K per annum. That is nearly $60K in the 6 years I have been with Trevor. His next area of concentration was in the actual choice of investments. He improved the overall quality of my portfolio while enhancing the return on investment Trevor frequently checks in with me to update me on emerging trends, new investment opportunities etc. In addition he circulates a monthly newsletter which provides a high level perspective on the market and developing trends.
