Our family home was hit by the 2019 spring flood. Our property and buildings were 4ft underwater. Our little kids thought it was really cool, we did not. We were full of anxiety not knowing how we would get through this. We canoed from our front door to the road in an overnight rise of several feet of water. From our initial call to West Wawanosh we felt like it would all be ok. Their service is second to none. Our representative assured us immediately that we can get through this -together. We immediately had a hotel room for the four of us. They took action on the property within a day. the personal service we received was so comforting. In a situation that seemed so bleak we had the real assurance that it was all handled. We spent 7 weeks in a hotel with many other families. Their stories weren't like ours. Their difficulties with their insurance companies really showed us how lucky we were to have West Wawanosh on our side. All is well now as our home is back to normal. There is not enough space here to share all of the amazing moments working with this insurer. Look no further. This is how your coverage should be. Thank you West Wawanosh Insurance.

A claim was filed early 2022 for damage done to a property I no longer lived in but co-owned with my recent ex. I’ve since been removed from title, but terms of my separation agreement stated I would receive 50% of the settlement. I’ve reached out to Sheri Turner, the adjuster, requesting information regarding the state of said claim. Sheri blew me off, claiming I needed to speak to my ex or her lawyer. My lawyer was informed of Ms. Turner’s response and requested an explanation from Ms. Turner as well as contact information for her supervisor so that this may be escalated.
This was a week and a half ago and we’ve heard nothing.
Sheri Turner clearly does not understand her job and should know the details before making arbitrary decisions that affect others. Very unprofessional, Ms. Turner. I’m incredibly disappointed and, quite frankly, very angry with your lack of empathy for your clients.

Very upset with this company.
We called to see if they would insure a business we are building on another part of our property, across the road, away from our living area (we are on a 100 acre property)
They said 'no' to the business, which is fine, we could go elsewhere with that... But then they also turned around and said they didn't want the exposure of the business on the property at all and completely cancelled our residential insurance with only 10 days notice.
The business won't even be up and running for months. There was no reason. To end things as abruptly as they did... Or at all for that matter.
Certainly would never recommend a company that treats its customers like that.

My house was hit by a wind storm and lighening strikes July 2013. Major damage was done to the roof, windows and electricity of the house. Damage was also done as the barn was all shifted and the parts of the roof were torn off the shed, the barn and parts of house trailer. I called Ontario Hydro and the local insurance agent who got there 3 minutes after the storm hit. I called the insurance agent from a neighbor cellphone as the last tree was falling on the house. I spent between twenty and thirty thousand dollars on repairs, some if which were temporary until I could fix it properly. The insurance company never finished the repairs. The house was condemned, of lack of repairs after the wind storm, by the insurance company. I have been living in homeless shelters for the last five years. This is despite the fact that I had insurance on the house to cover replacement living cost until the repairs were done in the event of the house is deemed unlivable or condemned. In April 2014, some people came in to the house and the farm, they stole everything from electrical wiring to hydro panels to plumbing and sewage pipe. They stole everything inside the property from an eighty kilowatts generator to sked stir parts, one hundred fourty thousand for the corn, twenty five thousands dollars for the soya beans everything in the house including pictures to furniture.
