My mother was a resident of the Chartwell Hartford for 16 months and enjoyed her stay. All of the staff went above and beyond to make sure she was comfortable and happy, and were wonderful to deal with. Thank you all very much for your care and concern for her and our family.

The Chartwell Hartford Retirement Residence is the perfect place for my parents! They are able to live comfortably, getting the support that they need each day. The staff is very kind and caring, knowing them by name and really looking out for them. It was an easy transition as the staff went out of their way to welcome my folks. The Hartford has been a big part of our families history for decades. My mom’s cousin ran and expanded the Hartford. Be on the lookout today for a special Easter treat and greeting to everyone at the Hartford in memory of Helen Gauthier and all the Barkley, Hill, Dillabough, Bouck,Fetterly, Van Allen, Casselman and many more of our family who passed on to their heavenly Resurrection celebration in years gone by. Helen left us in 2012. She spent many happy years there surrounded by family and we were able to stay in the guest suite there and have many great meals there when we visited.Happy Easter to you all. Hartford staff are great. We went on a tour and were given a lunch. Very accomodating and friendly. My Mom has a lovely room. Lots of activities for the residents. Christina is very nice and approachable if you have concerns or questions. Tks Jean

I cannot thank Chartwell Hartford enough for the incredible care they provided to my mom after she suffered a fall. From the moment we arrived, the staff was attentive, compassionate, and quick to ensure she was comfortable and had everything she needed. They truly created a soft place for her to land during a challenging time. The team was always friendly, supportive, and went above and beyond to make sure my mom felt safe and cared for. It’s rare to find such a wonderful combination of professionalism and warmth, and we are so grateful for all they did. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a caring and nurturing environment for their loved ones.

My father was a resident at the Hartford Retirement Centre this past year, and although his health needs now require complex support in a long-term care facility, we look at his time at the Hartford with great respect and appreciation. The staff are professional and really understand how much this transition time for a loved one affects the entire family and provide the comfort, care, guidance and support necessary throughout this journey. Our family and father thank you for all your kindness! We are so fortunate to have a place like the Hartford in our community to call Home.

My brother-in-law was a resident at the Hartford for almost a year and a half. The staff were wonderful in making him feel at home when he first moved there and he became very fond of all of them. As his needs changed they were great to work with and often went above and beyond in helping to meet his needs. The menu and meals offered lots of variety and the kitchen staff were also in tune with what some of his food preferences were. We were very happy with the excellent communication between us and the management & staff during his time there and especially in the weeks leading up to his passing. They were very compassionate, helpful, patient and accommodating. We miss the interaction we had with them when we came to visit.
