Doug and Gayle have been taking the best care of our large group for over 25 years! Their Cabins are fully furnished, clean and comfortable. Spotless fish cleaning house , freezer space a plenty , free ice - and electric and gas on the dock. If you have you own boat and want to experience some of Ontario’s best walleye fishing and have the customer service and accommodations you expect to make your trip work , this place is definitely worth a look. There are many good reasons I spend 2/3 of my vacation every year at Gawley’s. Just got back from our 2019 fall trip and can’t wait for Spring 2020!

My stay at Gawley’s Little Beaver Lodge is always an amazing experience. As soon as we arrive, we are always greeted with a warm welcome. Doug and Gayle are truly kind, honest people. The cabins there are really nice and clean, but if you’re anything like me, you’ll be on the boat fishing most of the time. Doug and Gayle are great for knowing which spots are good to fish on. Plus the fishing is great on this lake. You can even catch nice fish off the docks. The fish house is pretty nice too to clean fish. I’d recommend this place to anyone who likes to go fishing and get away from home. This is my home away from home. I always wish I could stay longer.

All I can say is WOW!!! We had an amazing trip this past summer. Staying at Gawley's Little Beaver Lodge is one of a kind. We woke up each morning with a map and bait in our boats all ready to go. Doug knew right where to put us on fish and boy did we catch fish. The cabins are great and well maintained they did everything they could to make us feel at home. We have already book our trip for 2020 and I would definitely recommend you do the same. This place it top notch!!!

I’ve been a client here for 25 years! Loved it so much from the start that I started going twice a year. Now it’s 3 times! Just spent a week there in mid September and had some of our best fishing ever. When it comes to fisheries Lac Seul is right at the top of the list in northern Ontario. Doug and Gayle are tremendous hosts and always helpful for what ever you might need. Doug can fix dam near anything! Great cabins, free ice and electric on the dock and they’ll even launch your boat for you, again, at no charge. I was kidding with Doug before I left that I’ve now spent almost a year of my life at Gawley’s.....every single day has been special. If you like to fish from your own boat and enjoy northern Ontario give this place a look. You’ll be glad you did.

Doug and Gayle definitely know how to make you have a great stay! They are very helpful and take great pride in offering everything you need to enjoy their resort. The cabins were very clean. The fishing is top notch and each day Doug will do whatever it takes to get you on them. Definitely recommend Gawley’s to anyone that wants to take a vacation on Lac Seul!

Excellent drive to destination! Doug and Gayle are wonderful hosts with clean, spacious and modern cabins! Small camp where you are not just a number. Don’t forget the the free ice which is huge especially on Lac Seul where you are not allowed to keep live walleye it’s best to put on ice!
Docks are excellent with plenty of power outlets to keep your batteries charged.

We used to go to different camps every year until we discovered Gawleys now we we can’t think about going anywhere else every year! This will be our 15th year!

Excellent camp and excellent fishing. Doug and Gayle are extremely friendly, helpful hosts. Cabins are clean and well maintained. Free ice is a big plus. Docks are safe and landing is easy. Great spot for a "guys trip," or a family vacation. Repeat customer. 5 stars!

I have stayed at Gawley's many times and only have good things to say. The cabins, fish house, and grounds are as clean as any place I have ever stayed. Free ice and electric right on the dock are included. BBQ grills for every cabin, and plenty of propane to run a fish cooker if you bring one. There's lots of room for truck and trailer parking. Doug launches all the boats, and will spot your trailer down by the fish house after launching. The resort is located in Goose Bay which makes it pretty protected harbor. Right from the cabin we've seen eagles, otters, beavers, geese, and many species of ducks. From the boat on Lac Seul we've seen moose and bears, as well as one lone wolf. When the sky is clear the night sky is beautiful, and we've been lucky enough to see the northern lights from the dock. Fishing is fishing, but we've had some really great days on the lake. If you're looking to fish the NW end of Lac Seul, give Gawley's a try.
