I did the safari cruise with Ocean Quest Adventures and it was absolutely incredible, hands down one of the highlights of my trip! I have done another boat tour in Newfoundland, which was also great, but this one offered a much more intimate experience with fewer people and a closer connection to the water.

Warren, Jamie, and Steven were amazing, so friendly, funny, and incredibly knowledgeable. Their passion gave me a whole new appreciation for the ocean, marine life, and the beauty of Newfoundland.

I would 100% do this again and recommend it to friends and family without hesitation. Can’t wait to come back next summer and try their other tours!

Had a fabulous time kayaking with instructor Adele in early August 2025.

We paddled in a group of 6 (including instructor), with 2 people/kayak. We paddled for about two hours to a sandy beach in Conception Bay South, had coffee and tea, prepared by Adele. Then spent about an hour returning to our lunch point.

Entire tour was about 3.5 hours. Adele was very cognizant of time, and ensured that the time spent on our journey worked with all attendees’ schedules.

We saw lots of jellyfish on our journey. Pleas wear sunscreen and appropriate clothing! Expect to get a bit wet from splashing sea water.

Adele was a fantastic, fantastic instructor. So knowledgeable, great time management skills; we felt very safe with her through our entire trip!

Terrific experience. Our guides were knowledgeable and friendly and even cleaned and filleted the fish for us to take home (the websites says they don’t do this). Great with young kids too. We also saw whales. Just a perfect activity for a day in Newfoundland. We will definitely go again.

The Zodiac boat trip was great! We got up close to humpback whales and spotted some dolphins too. The guides were fantastic. When we spotted whales breaching they turned around so we could experience it. A magical trip!

We had an incredible Cod fishing experience. Not only was it fun, but educational. We even had a close up view of a beautiful whale. Looking forward to trying new adventures with Ocean quest.
