Just down the street from The Agassiz-Harrison Museum & Visitor Information Centre, we were recommended to go eat "the best burgers" here by a few people. I was a little skeptical because I've never gotten a burger at a cafe before, and I doubted the best burger I'm going to eat would be from one. I was proved wrong, it was definitely one of the best burgers I've ever had. There was a little bit of a wait, but I understood that there was only 1 or 2 chefs in the back. We were glad to wait especially supporting a local business. My partner got an elk burger, but they also have kangaroo and bison which was very interesting! If we're ever back in town, we'll definitely stop by again. Thanks so much for the amazing food!

TL;DR: Be ready to wait an hour for your food.

My husband and I went here for breakfast while staying in Harrison. The reviews were great, so we decided to give it a try.

We visited on a long weekend Monday, so it was understandably busy—that’s fine, we live in Vancouver and are used to waiting. However, we were told the wait would be "5–6 minutes," but it ended up being at least 20. We quickly realized this was unrealistic, as most people were still waiting for their food or had just been served. Still, the same “5–6 minutes” line was repeated to everyone at the door.

Once seated, we ordered right away but still waited another 35–40 minutes for two omelettes. It’s a small place, and breakfast isn’t that complicated—how does it take 40 minutes in a tiny cafe? Even their printed menu warns that food will take time, but I didn’t expect to wait nearly an hour in total for an omelette. I've traveled to many towns and cities, and this was the slowest services I’ve ever experienced.

As for the food: the Mexican omelette was delicious, but the mushroom and cheese omelette was underwhelming. We were still hungry afterward but didn’t order more because we just wanted to leave.

Highly recommended! Service was great! The breakfast was so delicious and the potatoes were made to perfection! Crispy but not dry! The owner, who is also the chef, seems to know the name of all the customers in town so and welcome them.

Absolutely amazing spot. The service was outstanding. The food you ask.....OMG AMAZEBALLS. We stayed in Harrison for the weekend, decided to stop in here for brekky. My stomach is glad we did lol. The locals were friendly. Parking was a breeze as it was early. I honestly can't find a negative thing to say about this place. If your in the area hell even out of the area lol, stop by. You won't be disappointed.

Just a wonderful ole time place to eat. Food is above par quality while pricing remains nominal, for the times. Wonderful ladies who'll welcome and treat you kindly as your meal arrives on time. Will return.

Was just visiting nearby to check out the Catholic Shrine nearby and happened to stay for brunch with my group. Randomly googled restaurants nearby and was impressed with the reviews of the cafe. So happy to have come in. We highly recommend the burgers especially the Elk, Kangaroo, Buffalo, and House burger. Absolutely delicious. Best burgers we’ve had outside metro Vancouver and meat was not greasy at all!

We love the food so we come 2 days in a row during our trip to Harrison hot spring. You definitely need to try their steak sandwiches. Great quantity and quality of food, easy parking as there's a parking lot right in front of the cafe. The service is pretty slow though.
