I don’t even know where to begin.

I got to watch two absolutely beautiful and wonderful people get married on June 7, 2025. It was a spectacular day. Not only did I get to witness two love birds tie the knot, but I got to witness them do it at their very own wedding venue that they built from the ground up. This couldn’t be more special for them. I am beyond thrilled, and proud to have been able to share this with them. An extraordinary accomplishment, and something I’ll never forget!

Astra and Josh, your venue Aspen Country Hills is an absolute dream, and anyone thinking of having an elegant, dreamy, simple country themed wedding, this is the place! It encompasses love and serenity, it’s so peaceful and stunning. Every detail was perfect, the venue had lots of light, it had a very open yet intimate feel. The washrooms offer a change table for little ones, as well as a little potty and wipes. The whole place was very kid friendly, there were lots of outdoor games, a bouncy castle, and a kids table. All things to keep in mind if you decided to have a kid friendly wedding, almost anything can be accommodated by Astra & Josh. There’s nothing they haven’t thought of to make this place most perfect for a wedding!

There was tons of space outside for outdoor games and fun. As well as a spacious yet sheltered dance floor that they just built for the you. They have an entire guest house with multiple rooms for the bridal party to get ready and to stay overnight. Not to mention ample space for camping, they offer bell tents and RV hook up.

I can’t imagine a more beautiful wedding venue that accommodates all your needs. Even though this was their special day, they never hesitated to make everyone else in their venue feel special and accommodated. It’s warm and welcoming, it’s designed with such class and elegance.

I can not say enough good things about Josh and his venue! He was so incredibly helpful all the days and months leading up to the wedding, especially the day of! He made sure I was informed, and really put big effort in for me to make sure I had what I needed! Great communication from Josh, i was so grateful for him on my big day! The venue is stunning with so many great options for your guests to stay the night! This venue is the best bang for your buck! Highly recommend Aspen country hills venue for your event!

We recently attended a wedding at Aspen Country Hills and were thoroughly impressed. The ceremony space was absolutely stunning—nestled in the trees, it offered a beautiful and serene atmosphere for the event. The reception area was equally charming, with modern touches that made it feel both cozy and up-to-date.

One of the standout features was the outdoor space. There was plenty of room in the back for camping, yard games, and mingling. Just outside the reception doors, there’s a covered porch area which was perfect for the catering setup—thoughtfully designed and very convenient.

Josh was fantastic to work with. He was open, friendly, and incredibly responsive to all the questions my husband and I had. His communication helped the day go smoothly, and it was clear he genuinely cared about making the event special.

Highly recommend this venue for anyone looking for a scenic, laid-back, and well-organized wedding location.

The venue is absolutely breathtaking! It is so peaceful out there with tons of space to accommodate your loved ones. Many thoughtful touches throughout, like the cute little hammock swings 🙂 the owners did an incredible job of making it look and feel modern and chic while maintaining a country spirit. The rental house is perfectly tailored to both bride, groom and special guests. My favourite part was getting ready in the bright and sunny bridal room with a vanity for everyone. The perfect place to begin the rest of your life <3

Aspen Country Hills is absolutely stunning. My husband and I got married here Sept 2024. Josh is incredibly knowledgeable and always there to help. He and his wife have made a beautiful, convenient location, that allows you to do everything you need for a wedding with ease. Every one of our guests told us about how beautiful the location is, those that stayed in the bell tents loved it and in the house were super comfortable. Aspen Country Hills is nothing short of the perfect venue.

Aspen Country Hills was one of the most beautiful venues I've ever seen. The country out by Evansburg is so beautiful. Rolling hills, forests, and skies for miles. The set up was so cozy and relaxing. The property is groomed so beautifully and the addition of the suite for the bridal party is above and beyond! I was blown away by the rustic, seemingly simple but super elegant decor of the reception building..I've never seen such gorgeous flowers in my entire life!!! All the wood work you put in, building all those chairs, bar, etc, is outstanding.
The tent set up and bouncy castle for the kids was impressive as well..they had so much fun!!!
The bell tents and ample room to camp made it so easy to stay and have the best time!
So incredibly grateful to have had that experience...anyone would be proud and delighted to have their wedding in such a magical place!! Thank you Josh and Astra and family for all your hard work and love that you put in to each and every thing you've done there!!!

My sons & DIL's wedding on Sept 13th was wonderful thanks to the caring hosts & the facility. From the cabin rental, hall & camping facilities it was all perfect. The unmatched outdoor setting is perfect for those wanting a country style wedding. It allowed the freedom to have friends & family together for 2 days of celebration which you won't find many other places. Also it availed itself to allow food trucks come in at 3 different times for the reception. Your wedding dreams can come true here!

My husband and I chose to get married and have our wedding celebration at Aspen Country Hills, an amazing wedding venue near Edmonton and we are so happy that we did! The venue is absolutely gorgeous and they had everything we needed to make our day perfect. The rustic barn reception space and beautiful outdoor ceremony area made our wedding magical.

Josh and Astra were there to help us with everything and anything we needed and were very accommodating. Their new farm house is stunning and was perfect for getting ready in and for our family from out of province to stay in and have a relaxing and easy visit. The luxury bell tents we stayed in were also very nice, clean and convenient. The on site accommodations made my wedding day all the less stressful and allowed us and others to fully enjoy the wedding and even months later my friends and family are still talking about how great that was to be able to stay with us during the 48h rental.
