It was definitely a gruelling process and I strongly urge you to avoid Pollard and Associates. I've sent emails and have never gotten responses back, been sent emails meant for other clients (this should be a red flag for most) and in general I felt a lack of effort on their end the moment I signed my contract. I think their "counselling" sessions are short and unhelpful, the bare minimum to check a box on a government form.

I write this as a warning, especially to those with any debilitating mental health issues such as anxiety or depression. If you're looking for a trustee that values you as a client and does more than the bare minimum, look elsewhere. If you want to be treated as a commodity and have what is already a stressful situation, amped up by an unprofessional business with a total lack of tact then you've come to the right place.
