Bought two laptops that were advertised with a note on each laptop one missing harddrive the other missing hinge. I would not be upset if they advertised as parts laptop but the laptops both were gutted of all parts and is worthless and have to be properly recycled costing me time and money to have to go out of my way to take to a transfer station. They were also horribly shipped. Contacted them with no response I would highly suggest anyone looking at reviews to trust and stay far away from them unless you can go in person and inspect the item do not trust them to stand by or properly advertise or be upfront. I purchased quite a few toys on 03/21/24, when contacted by phone about shipping I asked them to overpack as I was aware the items were fragile, wasn’t concerned about extra cost. The toys were shipped to me in boxes with no packaging at all, most models received extensive damage and devalued the toys significantly most unrepairable. Sent an email which I received a quick response that there would be follow up and was ghosted from there. Very unfortunate. Things happen but service is everything and I’m not hard to work with.

Decent items however the way they charge storage fees is a slap in the face to customers who bid on multiple auction lots and want to pick up all at the same time, especially when making a long commute to give them business. I understand if you’re waiting weeks/ months in between, however when the auctions are only a week apart, the storage fee is completely unnecessary. They say it’s to keep everything organized, however when you go to pickup your items the warehouse is a giant mess of empty boxes and stuff laying around. The item pickers are friendly and there’s a very nice dog on site, at least they have that going.

Do not buy anything here unless you live directly five minutes from this place. They sold me two broken laptops that were listed working with no issues. One needs the cord plugged in all the time to work because the battery cannot use its charge and the second one the keyboard does not work. Did I also mention they do not let you test on site because it "hinders their business" and I would also not be able to get a return for anything that I bought.

The only time I've ever gotten a good deal when no one was proxy bidding was old furniture. Other than that, it's just old shit marked up way too much.

They also hound you over the phone and email. If you don't pick it up 24 hours after you bid on it, which doesn't make sense for anyone that does not live within 15 minutes from there as people from all across Canada and the US bid here.

The type of people that will give you a $25.00 late fee on $10.00 worth of items.

Knowingly sell counterfeit coins and merchandise with real authenticity papers. In my experience, from the Royal Canadian Mint, that they put with fake collectables so they would sell for more. Then they'll tell you that you should have looked more carefully and you can't go by what the authenticity documents provided by them from the Mint say! Then they'll tell you that they knew they were fake and you should have too even though they advertised with authenticity documents. They do not disclose things are fake or counterfit and most lots are not as described. Look out for this place! Would not recommend and will never buy another lot from here.

march 2025.......i buy all kinds of stuff ..hundreds of dollars over the years , while i was out of town i had a friend doing the pick ups for me, last purchase was a 3$ set of golf clubs that i had him pick up a week later ,they wanted 5.25$ storage fee ....garbage customer service ,i will never go there again and don't recommend it

I have previously won numerous auction lots from Mcsherrys and have decided after recent experiences to never order from them again. I have also gone as far as to urge anyone else who will listen to never consider interacting with them. From being shipped the wrong firearm and them sending the correct firearm I ordered to the other side of the country to them shipping firearms in a manner that is extremely unsafe and Illegal, Mcsherrys auction house never fails to astound me with their unprofessionalism. If anyone is thinking of buying or consigning with this auction house please think again.

The woman at the front desk is delightful. A true pleasure to deal with. There was a young woman in the back that ended up helping me out, she was also kind. I gave them two stars instead of one because of these women.
But the man I dealt with: rude, impatient, unorganized. My partner and I went in this weekend to pick up my auction lot, had to wait about twenty minutes because he couldn’t find it. Leaves me waiting to go help others. Young woman starts helping me, she mentions that the auction print off was from last week. Man yells, “I ASKED HER IF IT WAS FROM THIS WEEK!” Like I was the stupidest, dumbest person he’d ever had to deal with. Turns out, one of his employees messed up and printed off the old bill. I brought the correct one. I brought all the right information. So he yelled at me for being so disorganized when it was all him. Honestly, this man made of a fool of himself. At least we got a good laugh at how idiotic he made himself look. He desperately needs a course on customer service, We won’t ever be back! I’ve already told my uncles, both of whom use this place often, to take their business elsewhere.
I suggest literally any other auction house in Winnipeg. I’ve never had a bad experience anywhere but here.
