I would highly suggest not using this company. I used them for car insurance for both my wife and myself. I used gore mutual because I was of the impression they were one of the most reasonable insurance companies around. Initially yes, this was the case - but upon renewing my policy my rate had increased by an incredible amount.
I’m not entirely sure what their brokers are doing over there - seeing as I was of the opinion they would be working retroactively to ensure their clients received the best policy.
When I called the company to see why my insurance had increased by such an exponential amount the broker told me that they could have obtained a better policy, but typically do not bother looking on behalf of their clients.. I guess I’m not entirely sure what they do there. Just answering the phone and selling? Anyways, don’t use this brokerage.

I've been completely misled and taken advantage of by Gore Mutual Insurance. I paid my premiums faithfully, trusting that this company would be there for me when I needed them--but when it came time (after a perfect record without a single ticket or accident) to file an auto claim, they denied it with little explanation and no effort to help me understand. Someone used my car and got into an accident. My insurance should have transferred to the individual. Gore is saying I should have added them to my policy! Who adds individuals who use their car 1-2 a year maybe to a policy? So disturbing they are getting away with this.
They were dismissive, and when they did answer, they did not address my questions. I'm left feeling scammed and extremely disappointed. If you're looking for an insurance provider who will honor their word, and stand by their clients, I strongly urge you to look elsewhere.

I wish I knew they had this much bad reviews on google before insuring my car with them. My car was stolen in September of 2024 and they are refusing to pay me after paying them every month over 600$ a month for insurance premiums. They hired a lawyer and they are trying to decline my claim because they are saying that I lied about my address to pay lower premium!!!!!! Imagine 600$ a month for this company is lower premium... the reviews here on google says it all about this company very unprofessional and I would consider what happened to me the biggest scam of all time.

Absolutely brutal company. Agreed to a price for auto insurance over the phone ($78/mo), next thing I know my premium has almost DOUBLED ($132.61). I triple confirmed the price over the phone with the agent and she reassured me every single time, and then I get charged more! I asked since the call is recorded, if we can do anything about our agreement and they said unfortunately no? So we agreed to a price, confirmed the price 3x over and now even though it’s recorded, nothing can be done? Unacceptable and scummy behaviour. It may seem like a deal but this company and the representatives are a nightmare to deal with. It’s well worth the extra $$ to go with a reliable and reputable company with agents who actually know what they’re doing.

It seems that I'm not the only one being ignored by Jeremy Proksch and Dylan DePaiva. I put in a claim 9 months ago for water in my basement. I have mold growing on drywall. No cleanup work was done. I have been waiting since mid-March for a reply to my emails. Gore wants to merge with Beneva so they can serve more customers while they can't even serve the customers they have! I've been with them for 22 years! So much for customer loyalty.
Gave one star so that I could post the review.

I could give a zero but there no such a option
They charged me again despite I pay a monthly payment , but they decided to charge again results take from me a money and left with overcharged fee

Terrible Experience – Unprofessional and Incompetent

I had an absolutely awful experience with Gore Mutual. Their team is completely unprofessional, disorganized, and incapable of handling even the simplest tasks properly. From the beginning, they showed a complete lack of communication and transparency. It took forever to get a response from them, and when they did respond, it was with vague or misleading information.

Their customer service is one of the worst I’ve ever dealt with. The representatives don’t seem to care about their clients at all. Instead of resolving issues efficiently, they drag out the process, making it frustrating and time-consuming. They are slow, unhelpful, and show zero accountability for their mistakes.

On top of that, they seem more interested in taking money than actually providing good service. I wouldn’t recommend this company to anyone—save yourself the headache and go with a more reliable and professional insurance provider.

I initially wanted to give 1 star. The reason: In advance of my renewal I spoke with a broker regarding my payment and I was advised that my payment would be taken automatically and there was nothing I needed to do. I reviewed my account to ensure the payment came out...it didn't. I followed up and Shimona resolved my issue quick and painlessly only because of her am I giving a 5 star review. Thank you, Tom Walton

This process was incredibly frustrating and required a great deal of patience. Eventually, I got in touch with someone (whose name I can’t recall) who was an absolute lifesaver. He was professional, understanding, and, in fact, one of the commercial property insurance adjusters. He went above and beyond to help me, and I couldn’t have asked for better service.

On the other hand, my assigned insurance adjuster, Jeremy Proksch, provided the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. Between February 3 and March 6, I sent six emails that were completely ignored. Despite multiple attempts to reach out, I received no responses and had to repeatedly call and ask random people to get any action. I didn’t let my frustration get the best of me, but I have no idea why his go-to response was simply to ignore me. He also ignored at least four voicemails during this period, and after a while, I stopped leaving them since they weren’t being documented.

It’s concerning to think about what might happen to customers who aren’t as proactive and reliant on someone like Jeremy to get their claims processed. The whole experience was a nightmare.

For Jeremy, I would give 0 stars. It seems like his skills might be better suited for a different role—whatever that may be. However, I’d give 5+ stars to the kind gentleman who actually got my file moving and resolved the issue. He’s the real hero in this situation.
