Très belle chambre! Moderne, propre et bien décorée! Sofa pas très comfortable et endroit bruyant si chambre en face est occupée. Petite terrace bien amenagée et beau terrain de pickleball sur place. Employés aimables et efficaces. Trois minutes de marche pour se rendre au restaurant Drake Devonshire. Bien aimé lors d'un court séjour de trois nuits.

Application pour ouvrir les portes qui fonctionne pour une seule personne, accès au lac difficile, très petit réfrigérateur bruyant, climatisation encore plus bruyante, impossible d'écouter la télévision, quartier fantôme à partir de 19h... mauvais service au restaurant de l'hôtel, TRÈS cher pour un séjour ordinaire.

Love it! Spouse and I have been here three times with dogs and it's always fantastic. The rooms are comfortable, there is a common area with coffee and snacks, a fire pit, and over the years more choices for food a short walk away...although the Drake Devonshire does a fantastic job of food also. Plus there is now a sauna at the Devonshire to go with the ping pong and other stuff, but we usually walk in town or make the short drive to Picton or the beach. We will definitely be back.

The room we had was at the top of 30 or more stairs with NO elevator. I would not have booked the room if I had known I was lugging my heavy luggage up 30 stairs.|Once in the room, the bathroom had glass for walls and you could easily see someone in the shower. Not practical at all and not designed with real travel life in mind.

My boyfriend and I stayed here this past weekend and really enjoyed our stay at the Drake Motor Inn! The location is absolutely perfect and it is just a few steps away from the Main Street and a minute walk to their sister hotel on the water. The rooms were pretty good for their value. The check in instructions could have been more clear, we had to check in by going to the Drake Devonshire lobby (sister hotel), but the staff was helpful. The rooms were clean and the room itself was pretty cute. The only downsides were that there was no kitchen/kitchenette inside the room and you can hear the other rooms moving around as the walls are thin. Our building (45) shared a common space where the kitchenette was, so it had a dorm-like feel in the shared spaces. This wasn't a problem for us as we were eating most meals out, but if you like to cook or have complete privacy, this probably isn't for you. Besides that, which wasn't really an issue for us, we loved the motel. The staff is so kind and responsive, they answered our texts within minutes and provided us treats in the morning and at night. They really went above and beyond to think about the little things, and you can even text them at any point to prepare/pick up a s'mores kit from the lobby (Devonshire) to make s'mores at the fireplace. Overall, loved it and it was great for the price.

Funky, fun hotel. Missing some of the extras you’d expect for a small town “luxury” hotel - bottled water, etc. The scones were ok, but our second morning there was only 1.

The rooms were nice, the bed comfortable and loved the art all over the place. The attention they put in detail is amazing like the good morning scones or the welcome cookies.

We stayed in room 01 in building 43.
Pros: Drive up to your door. Room is large.

Cons: Feels a bit bare and cold in decor, sink is in the room not the bathroom. Lighting around the sink on one side, so weird.

Fresh scones outside the door in the morning...technically, yes there are scones outside the door but they are in a sealed bag, and slightly dried. Coffee was okay. This was the same for the "smores" kits, asking for them at front desk felt like we were inconveniencing someone.

Suggestion: have scones and fruit set out with coffee in main area. Have it be HOT and FRESH.

Concierge was helpful, answered questions promptly.

We had brunch at the Drake dining room and it was really nice. Great views, yummy food, good service.

Overall, expected more and I'm glad we came in winter since I wouldn't pay their summer prices.
