Well worth the $20!! Our trip up to the bridge and back lasted over 2hrs, and the first half was a narrated tour of the river’s history. Got good sights and learned some history. The captain was very kind and let us try some fishing and to touch the steering wheel! Just make sure you arrive on time since we left exactly on schedule!

I feel this should be rated highly of things to do in Miramichi. For $20 per person you get a 90 minute ride down/up the Miramichi river. The first half is narrated. Great history and modern commentary. I didn't give a 5 star as the boat itself is a bit primitive. The owner and narrator were very hospitable. A great afternoon spent on the water.

Attended a friend's wedding in the boat and it was lovely. The captain is very friendly and told us some history about the river while we were cruising.

90 minutes of fun & relaxation for $20; what a deal! We went on the 2:00 pm tour and learned so much about the area. Our tour guide gave a bilingual tour that was easy to follow and quick moving. No time to doze off here! Be on your toes; the man is funny!

We enjoyed it so much, we planned to go on the 7 pm the next day. Sadly, construction slowed us down from our day trip by 30 minutes and we literally missed the boat.
